Olusegun was a very proven amateur who was undefeated as a pro. I'm pretty sure Olusegun beat a few proven professionals in the amateurs on top of being an undefeated pro for about 10 years. Olusegun was a solid fighter and probably a better boxer than Garcia.
Oh yeah, and Khan dropped Judah on a body shot that Judah called low, which is why he didn't get up. If you notice, Judah got up right after the ref called the fight off. Let's not over glamorize the KO as something it wasn't. It was more miscommunication than anything.
Anyway, like I said earlier in the thread, Mathysse gave the judges the benefit of the doubt during the Alexander/Judah bouts. If you notice before all of his fights now, he makes it a point to not let the fight go to the judges so he can get robbed. Because that's what the Judah/Alexander fights were; a robbery.
How can you agree that Pac-Marquez III was a robbery, but not Alexander-Mathysse?
Lastly, this potential fight between Garcia-Mathysse has very little to do with "who has he beat". You use this argument a lot when referring to your debates concerning Mayweather and Pac. Not every fight can be analyzed this way. Like I told another poster, as a boxing fan, you have to have an eye for routines, styles and proven/normal characteristics of two fighter when determining who would win a potential fight. It doesn't always come down to "Oh, who has this guy beat or who has he beat". You know this.
It's clear as a glass of spring water that Garcia's routines play into Mathysse's strengths. I don't know what else to say, but let's wait for the fight to happen I guess

I told people that would be a close fight. And it was. Styles...simple as that. Floyd outclassed a two lower division Marquez...and came with two pounds above established. So please....

And yes, Soto was a beast. The guy only lost to Guzman in over 10 years. Have you even seen Soto fight? He beat Chavez, Diaz and Antillion at 135.
You're the type of dude that would've discredited Alvarado for beating Rios because you guessed it "what has Rios done at 140".
Come with better logic and knowledge of fighters.Last edited by BoxingGenius27; 10-21-2012, 08:34 PM.

Nice work trying to marginalize Matthyse, Danny, but real boxing fans know Lucas is a beast. He probably deserved the decision in one if not both of those fights against Devon and Zab, and despite how close they were, neither guy wanted any part of him in a rematch. So is is what it is.
Danny Garcia is a beast too, though, and after the other night he doesn't to be afraid of ANYBODY at 140 lbs. But as a boxing fan, I'd love to see these two hammer-fisted fighters collide. It would be a Fight of the Year contender, no doubt, and I can't pick a winner.

Garcia's just scared of Lucas! Garcia landed a lucky punch on Amir's ear and beaten a washed up lightweight and he's a already acting up like he's better than Lucas, fight Mat then do the talking..

For Garcia to talk about Matt. like that only means one thing - he's scared ****less of the Argentinian. He talks about how Lucas lost two fights, those fights were very arguable. What a bum this Garcia kid is, Matt. is on a whole different leven than him.
If the p*ssy actually grew some balls and decided to fight Lucas - FOTY hands down.

Damn what a Duck!! Just a Regular tough guy who's won most his fight by K.O, Has more K.O's than Danny has Fights, but he would rather face another washed up fighter in Judah....your Daddy wasnt lying he loves you and doesn't wan to see you KTFO vs Mathysse or any real challenge!

Rios is a machine, that can be outboxed and outclassed by a guy who knows how to jab and keep the distance. You don't see that in Garcia.
Matthysse knows how to move and has a lot of power. He places his punches very well with a good body work. I'm not saying he's unbeatable...just saying Garcia is not the guy that will do that.
