Damn homie! At what point of the article did he say he "wouldn't" fight Matthysse? All he said was that he thought the guy was a typical tough guy. He even said that it would be a good fight. How is he ducking Matthysse when he "didn't" turn away the fight? And Matthysee hasn't openly challenged Garcia to a fight! Garcia has to fight who his promoter puts in front of him. You think Matthysse will bring the most money out of the possible options that's out there for Garcia? And how is he a fraud? He defeated a legend, twice! He beat the guy who was considered the best int he division by ESPN, Ring Mag and other boxing sources. And what's a real challenge? Are you saying Morales and Khan weren't real challenges? There are other options at 140 and more lucrative I might add that Garcia can pursue. He's the champ at 140, boxrec has Marquez as champ, but Garcia is the champ. Im not that impressed with Matthyse, IMO Garcia would KO him out. Garcia is becoming a better fighter, he is a good counter punched who doesnt waste his punches and throws them with bad intentions every time. IMO Rios would probably be the only one at 140 who could beat him based on his chin and constant pressure..To beat a hard puncher like Garcia you have to pressure him and take what he disehs at you and that is Rios's specialty!!

If so, then Matthysse fights lightweights as well, with his next to last fight being against Humberto Soto who had recently moved up from 135lbs<<<
