both outboxed and smothered maidana and rios inside. both fighters lost fair and square. rios got easily outboxed and beaten up by lesser opponents and clearly lost to one but you're saying he'll never lose to alexander because?

Don't mind him... he just jumped in on the Rios Gravy Train

Rios is not a bum. He's a really tough brawler with a hard chin.

Granted, he's awfully limited and would probably get Margaritoed against the likes of Mosley or any other good boxer/hard puncher that has a good chin and who doesn't wear down.

But so what? Not everyone can be the greatest fighter who ever lived. He gives exciting wars.

Maybe I've missed it, but I haven't seen anyone call Rios a P4P fighter or an ATG.

I can't stand Rios's big mouth, but the action he provides is undeniable. I actually enjoy seeing him fight, regardless of how one-dimensional he may seem. His will and chin is definitely something to appreciate. Rios is not a bum, the only top 140lb fighter I'd outright favor over him is Matthysse. Marquez/Garcia/Khan are 50-50 fights. He still has time to develop his skill-set, but his intangibles make him a force.

He's not the best boxer in the world but he has heart, determination, he always gives it his all and has been involved in some great fights.

He's a million miles away from being a bum. Dumb thread show some respect.

Boxing fans crack me up some most likely out of shape nobody calling a gutsy entertaining fighter who has earned more in one night than they will in 10 years a bum.

                  Who's the real bum here?

                    Nobody's this ******.

TS is trolling for reactions. He's getting off on it. He might not like Rios. But he doesn't feel he's a bum.

                    Don't worry TS I understand.
