Which is why I say Rios is underrated, what kind of sick comparison is that? The only similarity those two have is their demeanor and aggressiveness, other than that Rios puts his punches together a lot better, throws short compact punches, defends; rolls with the punches better. Rios, while not great defensively is more responsible. It's too bad we're not gonna get the Matthysse fight....
Brandon Rios is still a bum

Wow...Half of u think he's p4p based off of win over mike alvarado and the other half think he's a bum with no skills and ignore his inside fighting and solid wins. I'm beginning to truly believe majority of boxing fans are slightly ******ed and have no perspective.Comment

Calling Rios a bum is as ****** as calling him a HOFer. So way to stoop down to their level and basically put yourself in the same category as them.
Rios is a hell of a fighter, a real warrior that is going to give us great exciting fights. I don't think he's a HOFer either but so what, can't we enjoy a good brawl without everyone having to be Sugar Ray Leonard?
The hate in this place is amazing sometimes.Comment

He is fringe top ten nothing more nothing less this division is far to deep imo for him to make any real splash.Comment

Then people have the nerve to say Maidana beats him, exactly how? I mean Rios does everything better than Maidana, in fact Rios would have never lost to Devon Alexander let alone lose everything freaking round.Comment

abril won nearly every round using relatively the same tactics alexander used against maidana. oh my.Comment

It is true that they are different fighters, but I hope you are not implying that Rios is a superior fighter at this point. Margarito competed at a much higher level. Plaster aside Margarito was a formidable champion at his best, Rios has lots to prove he hasn't really beaten anyone impressive, and the Abril thing makes him overrated. Let's see him use his inside game against someone very good, that's all I ask.Which is why I say Rios is underrated, what kind of sick comparison is that?
