Love him or hate him he is a sure fun bum to watch when he fights.

Not everybody thinks that he is a world beater and not everybody thinks he is a bum.

he is a young exciting fighter that gets your emotions(good or bad) going when he fights

Bums can't take shots and absorb them like he did!! You need to use another word other than "bum" I don't think you know the meaning of that word in boxing! Try again if you think he's an inferior or limited fighter but he's NO Bum! Ray.

Could be the most loved fighter on here if not for his mistakes

Not even going to front, I can't stand this kid. He is a jackass as an individual and each time he fights, I will root for his ass to get beat down severely, which is on the horizon shortly. Notwithstanding he is a throw back slugger who does provides exciting fights for a round or two for those of you that are into that. He is average fighter at best with a short shelf life nothing special other than what he is and that's a brawler. At the end of the day, unfortunately for him, he will rue the day he mocked Freddie.

A bum? Come on man... Rios is not great but he is an action packed fighter who entertains at a very high level. He will be a force to reckon at 140 and will bet all my points he will win a strap at that weight... That being said The winner of Pacquiao VS Marquez would beat him easily!!!

What the hell do people have on here against Brandon Rios?
I don't think anyone is over hyping him,and is just giving him his due respect. Both Donaire and Rios win by KO and now they're both bums...
                Jealousy is a mother****er.

Even more of a reason to appreciate him. There aren't many fighters that can withstand punishment and dish it out. He's 26, still has numerous years left and many great fights to make. He'll be forced to make some slight adjustments to his style if he wants to remain competitive throughout his career, but he's a decent fighter right now. He does pretty good for a guy who's considered to be limited.

Lets be real here, Rios will get knocked out when he fights an elite power puncher. Fighting toe to toe and going all out instead of boxing and being smart will lead to this.
