This only confirms that Arum has Merchant on his payroll. Manny could fight Salido right now and Merchant would justify it. We all know that Floyd would be totally demeaned for even entertaining a fight with Rios at this point. TOTAL BS!!!

Everything you said is true especially about the experience factor, but that's also something I think really doesn't matter because Rios simply does not give a **** where he fights or who's watching, he just want's to hit somebody. That's why I'll give him a punchers chance.

It is not a terrible fight, but not really that challenging a fight for Manny. It could be fun and make Manny look spectacular again, so I can understand and tolerate it but certainly wouldn't be my first choice.

because of Rios' personality and fighting style some people will always underestimate him and look at him as a dumb brawler but Brandon Rios is special! He has IT! Whatever IT is, intangibles, he has them, just like Manny Pacquiao has them, you can't pin point what it is, but its a combination of many qualities outside of speed and power that make someone special in boxing

Very true. JMM is older and he beat Paq three times already. Paq lost his last fight to Bradley. Anybody can beat Paq now. He's past his prime and the old Paq is not coming back. Arum needs a new cash cow.

Atleast ur man enough to say it and I can respect that. The real reason why these Floyd fans doesn't like this match up is because with rios style it's very possible that PAC will lay rios out making PAC look like an unstoppable beast again and this is why they don't want this fight. It's not because rios will be going up in weight or how rios is not on mannys level. It's none of that its for the fact that PAC will put rios out. Just look at it like this, they complain that manny never fights a young fighter, well how old is rios??
