Ortiz was the #2 ranked WW and coming off what should have been a W over Peterson at 140 and a win over then #2 WW/unbeaten Berto at 147.

Rios is coming off LW wins over Acosta and Murray, getting shut out by Abril, and a good win over Alvarado at 140. This is more like Floyd fighting Maidana next or some s**t.

Why can't Manny fight the Berto/Guerrero winner??? The winner of that would be a legit Top WW and coming off a good win.

It should be obvious why at this point. Top Rank vs. Golden Boy, **** ain't happening, and I'll be curious how things go down between Lara and Vanes. Let's say Vanes gets a ugly UD over Lara then everyone here will say it's because Bob had his hand in it. The two companies would never work together again, but maybe that night is the start of them working together also. Let's hope so.
