Are seriously comparing Rigondeaux to Narvaez and Mathebula?

I wouldn't worry about Donaire being done. He wants the best, he wants Rigo to prove himself, he wants Rigo to get in with a Darchiyan sp,

Donaire is on the roll and a possible P4P that climbs weight divisions like Pac

Donaire can wipe out the division and especially with those who will throw punches at him.

I agree with the dude that said Rigo will be a snorefest until he messes up and gets knocked on his butt for good

Name recognition? Yes, they are about the same but in skill Rigon trumps them both. Outside of the Cuban and American hardcore fans, there isn't anyone who's keen on Rigondeux.

            You called them CANS bro...

You're being too naive to think this isn't a marketable fight. You know how many casual fans would be exited to see "Nonito Donaire unification bout vs the best amateur fighter OF ALL TIME?" Showing clips of their respective KOs and flashy images making it seem like it's the fight of the century? Seriously man you can't defend Nonito here, what he said was all wrong. He could have just said he was willing to fight anyone they put in front of him.

It's like this. Donaire was asked a legit question. He answered it frankly. If Donaire doesn't want to fight Rigon, then who the hell cares? Rigon can make a name for himself by fighting the likes of Vasquez, arce et al and make a name for himself first and make himself recognizable among the casual fans, thereby insuring him and his promoter leverage for bigger monetary fights in the future. With his skill set, he shouldn't be limited to 122 lb division. And if in the near future, Donaire still stays at the high perch he's in, then they can make the fight with lesser excuses.

And if and maybe if Donaire still refuses to give Rigon a chance, then fawk Nonito.

Yes. I still stand that Donaire- Rigon is NOT a marketable fight. Just like with Mathebula and Narvaez. Fights that were made only to stay relevant.

I don't think Rigondeaux is that great. Marroquin had him hurt. Donaire would KO him. No doubt in my mind.
