Where Do You Place Rigondeaux Now?

Nonito Donaire is clearly the top dog at 122 now. Where do you guys place Guillermo Rigondeaux?

    Fourth.

Mares and Moreno are proven fighters, and I give them the benefit of the doubt at the moment. I hope Rigo fights Agbeko or Darchinyan. That would be his showcase for a Donaire fight.

Might seem strange, but would you say Rigo leapfrogs to the #2 slot if he beats either Mares or Moreno? Would Rigo take a step up in ranking, in your opinion, if he beats either Agbeko or Darchinyan?

as an up incomer that got an easy title. Skillful but yet to be tested! With 11 wins hard to put him in a top ten for the fact his opponents are c class fighters as they are to be when building up ones record. We will just have to see what comes of him in the future. I wont and refuse to ride his nuts just because he had a good amateur background

at the moment, number 2 but the winner of moreno vs mares takes that spot and guillermo moves down to #3

If he impressively beat Agbeko or Darchinyan, I would have no problem ranking him above Mares. Moreno would be a different case, I am absolutely sold on him. I think he is the best fight at 122 for Donaire, and hope he proves me right against Mares.

I agree with much of what you say. But, strangely enough, I find it impossible not to rank Rigo in the top ten, even the top five. He's just a special case, in my opinion.

Wouldnt Rigo need to beat the #3 and #4 122lbers in order to be considered #2? What am I missing here?

Nice. I'm impressed you guys rate Rigo that high already. And I agree with the logic for the "sliding scale".
