Pavlik will get destroyed and hopefully this fight happens and that joke retires and drinks himself into a suicide lol. Pavlik is a complete joke in my books.

I agree that Pavlik would lose very decisively to Ward, I don't think he'll get ko'd cause the man's got an iron chin. However....what accomplishments have you done in your life to give you the right to call Pavlik a "complete joke" in your books? He's a former world champion and he defeated the champ to claim that title unlike most "champs" nowadays.

Hopkins owned this man and he fell into a deep depression and alcoholism. He's battled that, and is now back in the ring to try to be a champ once again. That's huge accomplishment right there. A bit harsh to hope he drinks himself into a suicide. Chill out a bit bro

Please....................a Prime Hopkins murders a prime Ward........would not be that close even. Hopkins slips, tags and bullies Ward for 12 rounds and drops him once or twice.

Pavlik should get outworked, but there is a risk. At least there should be, if Pavlik still has a decent punch in him(no, that doesn't mean I said Ward has a crappy defense - to any idiots out there...). Don't forget, Pavlik isn't garbage. He did beat the guy that beat a younger Bernard. Not many can do that, still.

I meant no disrespect towards Pavlik as a fighter. Let's face it his demons robbed him of the greatest he had the potential to attain. As to the current version, I see very little he can do. SOG way too crafty to get caught. Of course,anything is possible I suppose.

Pavlik lost his soul to Hopkins, and Ward is that version of Hopkins x 10. Get Pavlik in against a guy like Froch, Kessler or Bute.

From Ward's point of view it's not a bad fight to take because he already cleaned out the division. But from Pavlik's point of view he would have been far better off trying to fight Kessler (since Froch and Bute are busy.)
