yeah he moved right into hopkins fists over and over. oh but he threw a lot of punches that missed so there's that important scoring criteria that I missed.

Yea right. If you call landing one good shot every three rounds "over and over". He might have been able to get a close win if he was more active. You can't just sit there and not do shit against a high volume puncher.

For me the fight was a typical Hopkins snoozer anyway.

excellent use of hyperbole but reality says otherwise. he landed several good punches every round which last I checked is more than the zero calzaghe landed in most rounds. missing does take skill though right? which scoring criteria does that fall under again? hopkins doesn't get any credit for defense(actual scoring criteria) but calzaghe gets credit for failing! perfect!

it would be a very interesting fight. one thing about calzaghe is he was very good at making adjustments and pulling out the victory. ward is also good at making adjustments. I slightly favor ward based off of his athleticism, but it would be a very close fight.

I think Calzaghe is the more athletic of the two, definitely the faster of the two, and has better stamina.

He could barely beat old hopkins, smarter, younger ward would school him, he retired cause he didnt wana face Dawson, he was good but i dont think a great, he didnt have many fight against elite opposition in division, he could of but he never proved it

Ward has a very high ring I.Q. but I haven't seen anything to suggest that he's smarter than B-Hop.

don't have to reach down that deep to know the truth. one guy is a great counterpuncher with great defense who can fight inside and outside and controls the pace of fights beautifully

LOL at calzaghe's best win is an 8-4 decision over Kessler and decision over 2 40+ year old fighters.

Ward knocked out a more experienced kessler and won the super 6.
