i guess we just have to agree to disagree but i thnk there's a reason why arce did'nt want the rematch with wv2 ..

and also, why are we talking about narvaez and not montiel (since both fights were at bw).. and why are we comparing rigo's resume to nonito's?..lol, that **** aint even close
I believe Dan corrected himself. He meant to type "Ramos" and instead typed "Casey."

My two cents: Cordoba and Mathebula are comparable. WV2 is perhaps slightly better than Marroquin. But either Casey or Ramos are probably better than Narvaez at 122. Omar is just too small for the weight. He's also up there in age.

Oh ok. But let's get crazy about Marroquin and Kennedy, right?

Agbeko has beaten Darchinyan and gave a good account of himself in the first fight with Mares. He is no joke and is a name opponent AND he wants to fight Rigo.

If the Cuban can do better than that for his next fight then I hope he does. But he sure as heck better not do worse.

yeah , i kinda thought that, just did'nt make big deal out of it....nonito fought omar at 118 , not 122 bro...and i dont think omar really ****** at that weight , i think he prolly would've beaten some of top bw had he stayed there..

          Whoops. Sorry...getting late.

Narvaez is tiny, even at 118. He was in over his head against Nonito at that weight. Omar didn't even try to fight in their bout. For such a successful fighter to behave that way speaks volumes. He didn't belong in there.

Find a post I wrote that pumps those guys up and I'll close my account.

As for Agbeko, I don't have a problem with him. What I said was that many people here are downplaying him. They wouldn't be impressed. If you would be, then I'll make certain to bring it up if/when Rigo disposes of him.

              Great.

Something tells me I don't have to worry about that though. Because Rigo won't be fighting him or Darch. It will be some lesser opponent.

Baring in mind he got the nod just in the two previous to those, very close fights, many feel he lost.

                  .

Agbeko's fight with Darchinyan was only close on the scorecards. In reality he dominated that fight, a clear win...

He's a bit past his best but he isn't a horrible opponent, even at 122.. Still would love to see Rigondeaux in with Santa Cruz, Donaire, Mares, Moreno, etc...

Its not whose fought who or shouldn't be really. Different goals (Donaire wanted world title, Rigondeaux wanted his 2nd gold medal), its not like Rigondeaux could of turned pro early is it?

They've both got world titles. Donaire/Nishioka, I'm sure Rigo will fight somebody soon you can all gripe over Have the winners meet.
Its the biggest & best fight in the division. A grudge match for all the titles, all the stakes. They have the same promoter. Lets see who really is #1
Narvaez was not a 112lber, he was a champ at 115 when he fought Donaire at 118. He didn't wanna fight Nonito at 115 cause he didn't wanna put his belt up, without it he can't make money in Arg.

Marroquin lost to average Leal on solo boxeo last year. Leal in turn got put on a stretcher by a Russian prospect recently. Right after Rigo, Ramos barely made it the 8rd distance with a telefutura level prospect (who you also boosted as well regarded lol) who just got shut out by a Colombian prospect on shobox. And it's pathetic that you're boosting Casey's undefeated record when he hadn't fought anybody at all.

These guys are not at the level of Donaire's opponents. Cordoba is a good name, but couldn't have been on form to get KOed by Euro level Dunne.

                      Corboda 37-2-2

Two former world champions. Name me one other fighter to do this? There isn't one so how can you knock his opposition?
Lets see who Donaire was fighting in his 6th-11th pro fights...

                      Kaichon Sor Vorapin 4-5-0
                      Mark Sales 7-16-2
                      Jorge Lopez 2-6-1
                      Ricardo Barrera 16-4-1
                      Gilberto Bolanos 21-8-1
                      Paulino Villalobos 25-28-2

It stayed like this to until he fought Darchinyan about 8 fights later on in his career.
Rigondeauxs resume is outstanding for a pro with only 11 pro fights & he isn't ducking, dodging anybody and you think hes sweating Santa Cruz? Please the guys not even the best at his respected weight in his own hometown.
I guess TS thinks mathebula was a bigger attraction and a better fighter than rigondeaux
