I can't believe that people are still on this "Mayweather is scared of Pacquaio, Mayweather ducks tough fights, Pac is greater than Mayweather" nonsense. People, Pac has arguably lost his last two fights. Personally, I had him losing 7-5 to JMM and winning 7-5 against Bradley. But I definitely couldn't put up too much fight against someone saying he lost both. Dan Rafael, who hates Floyd Mayweather like no other, has Pac down to #4 on his P4P list. Pac is down to #3 on the Yahoo list. Matter of fact, there's not a credible list out there that has Pac #1. He's not the best and never was. He's no different than the DLHs, Titos, Mosleys, and even B-Hops of the world who had "stints" as the P4P #1 when it was clear to everyone that didn't flat out hate the guy that Roy Jones was the true P4P King during the time. Pac is in rebuild mode. He needs to get a win against an elite fighter. And then, maybe then can he be taken seriously again as the best of his era or best now. But until then, all the BS about Mayweather being scared of this and that is nonsense. The guy just got outta lockup. Let Pac beat JMM convincingly, something he has failed to do in three tries. Until then, I don't wanna even hear the Mayweather ducking Pac nonsense cause there's nothing to duck. And as for Martinez, let him try not getting put on his ass by an unproven prospect before he flaps gums about being the best. And fight Ward. Its funny he's always calling out smaller guys but turns ***** when it comes to fighting a bigger one. I mean the "I'm too small" **** needs to stop. This cat weighed 176 30 days before his fight with Chavez. I think Ward weighed about 180 30 days before his fight with Dawson. Martinez aint near as "little" as he claims to be.

The fact is, he has done absolutely nothing in his career to warrant a mega super bout with Mayweather Jr; Just take a good look at his resume. His refusal in risking bouts against larger and more skilled opponents who are a lot closer to his own size really hurts his earning opportunities. He should first try carving out his own legacy before calling out a legend in this sport and future Hall of Famer as Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Originally posted by _original_ View PostMan, there's a lot of haters in here, in the event that Floyd were to take the Sergio fight and defeat him, I wonder how many of these dudes would actually give him the credit. Recently, does everybody remember Mosley? Dude was calling out Floyd left and right and people were saying Floyd was afraid, Floyd takes the fight and dominates the hell out of Mosley and now nobody gives him the credit for that bout.
I think it would be a very intense fight, I honestly think Martinez posses the biggest threat to Floyd. There's no other guy at 147-154 that you can see defeating Floyd besides Sergio. Let's make it happen!
Originally posted by Pretty Boy Greg View Postthen why doesnt he fight ward?? this BS about him being small for a MW is ridiculous... he and chavez were both at 170+ for the 30 day weighin...he walks around at 180 I betcha
Originally posted by johnm View PostSounds a lot like "blah blah blah, wants to pick on smaller guys, but doesn't want to be the smaller guy" to me.
And don't give me that Chavez, nonsense. That guy was never elite.

Originally posted by J The UnBiased View PostBlah Blah Blah. you know good and damn well Paul Williams in no way, shape, or form deserved a Floyd shot. Sergio's been calling Floyd out for the past year and a half, so don't make it seem like this has been some on going theme. Sergio's also been calling out everybody's favorite fighter, and when everybody's favorite fighter ducked him, you people ignored it. Bottom line, this is a great fight, Sergio has a chance of winning, but he hasn't dealt with an opponent like Floyd, I would have to give Mayweather the edge.

Naw you wouldn't. You'd just go on about how Sergio wasn't at a good weight and how he's 38 years old and all this other non sense that you Floyd detractors bring up when he beats a fighter that you thought had a chance. If you honestly think the Floyd/Oscar fight was a deserving split decision your delusional as hell dude. Terrible comparison.

because you said it , lol
the reason Pac is greater is :
1. Pac fights all comers Jr Don't
2. Pacs opponents were great fighters, Jr refuses to get into firefights with elites and chooses old men , little men and wee little men then brags on himself.
IF Jr wants to be greater than Pac , then he should fight Pac and stop the excuses:
1. He finally said he never meant to say Pac used drugs , LMAO !!!!!!!
he could have forgone that one and just fought Pac and got it over with , they ref would have stopped the fight or Roger would have jumped into the ring to save him or he would have QUIT like his Uncle roger quit on his stool.
now mang I can go on and on but this is sufficient mang
Pac is greater than JR will ever beLast edited by MASTER1454; 09-28-2012, 12:57 PM.

Let's be honest here--Jr. is a fairly limited guy at 160. If his size was almost enough to eke out a victory against Martinez, Martinez would get blown out against Ward at 168. Ward isn't just big like Jr., he's an exceedingly talented fighter.

Sergio is probably one of the most talented dudes in Boxing right now the, dude is a atheltic specimen and too pick up boxing at such a late age is saying alot.. but too fight FMJ who is 20lbs less in weight is ridicilous, and the funny thing is I think Floyd was still beat him, pick him apart by his jab alone, especially with the hand that is always dropped from Sergio...Maravilla should fight 3 more fights and retire, Ward, Sturm and rematch against Jr....Ward is the most boringest fighter for a guy so skilled, wow, the guy puts me too sleep, the Son of god is a son of pure boredom, the guys fights too not lose not to win...Last edited by P4P Prince; 09-28-2012, 01:12 PM.
