Sergio will go down to 154; 3 of those fighters mentioned fight at 154. I will admit that I think Sergio is a bit too big for Floyd who cant fully make 154, but Cotto and Canelo both cut to 154 and in turn nothing stands in the way. The Chavez rematch would be extremely easy to make also.

Nothing stands in the way of Cotto, Canelo fights? It takes 2 sides to make a fight. FFS the odds on Canelo facing Maidana are 10 times better than him fighting Sergio. With the 154ers, it's out of Sergio's hands. With Ward, it's all on Sergio, if he wants it, the fight gets made.

Mayweather doesnt have the balls to fight pac, let alone fight Martinez!!?? As skip bayless says 'Bok Bok Bok Bok!' Martinez would annihilate Mayweather, possibly knocking him out. No reason why Floyd cant fight Serg at 154 since his last fight was there with cotto. Mayweather has not fought anyone the size of Martinez (who has both the speed and power). Mayweather has also lost a lil speed and gets hit alot more. He won a split decision with oscar when oscar was over the hill and mayweather was younger. . . imagine if he took this fight with serg. For a very rare time, floyd would be the smaller fighter fighting someone who has longer reach and speed that he hasnt seen with power behind that speed. Don't think floyd would be able to counter like he usually does. It wont happen but i would give floyd credit if he took it.

Canelo and Oscar have mentioned Martinez, yet I bet they wont answer any calls that come their way about an actual fight. There is no size obstacle, no financial obstacle and no other obstacles; fear isn't an acceptable excuse for me and that's all that is in the way.

Ward has refused to come down in weight, Martinez only weighs 165 on fight night...they actually have a weight obstacle in the way that would need to be resolved. All of those other names have held a title at 154, Martinez has never campaigned at 168.

Very intersting. So Martinez says he'd do 154 for Floyd. I have to go ahead & read the excuses from Floyd's fans right now in this tread. I'm sure there's a trailerload to laugh at.

Don't know how he feels now though. Funny people saying Floyd is scared but Pacquiao been said he didn't want none of Martinez and Arum wanted Sergio to come in as a zombie if the fight got made. Pac cannot even KO a handicapped light puncher.
