The Oktay Urkal fight was the only boring Cotto fight how can you complain about the others though Cotto knocked them out in 6 rounds. Your expectations are too high, how many fighters can u think of that's had u "on the edge of your seat" every time out.

IF he can stay out of the trenches this Cuban Trainer whom I have MUCH respect for can pull him thru Young TROUT.

I was not impressed with TROUT in the DR fight

      COTTO to win

      Respect :

I wasn't impressed either, Trout had a dominant performance but DR walked away with a clean face after that fight. Cotto wont have to worry about Trout's power. Stamina will be the main issue like you said but I think Cotto showed great stamina in his last fight. Trout's in too deep too soon, he shouldn't have picked Cotto in N.Y. for his first big fight.

Trout got chosen and he stepped up because it's a once-in-a-career opportunity. It would've been ****** of him had he not taken the fight.

Yea I know any fighter would have jumped on the opportunity. I just think the nerves are gonna get the better of him and he's gonna make costly mistakes. The NY crowd is gonna go crazy after every punch Cotto lands and Trout might get desperate and think he need's a KO to win.

There's no real way to get prepared for the MSG atmosphere. People said the same thing about Bradley when he fought Pacquiao. Trout has to have a strong mind, remain focused and tell himself, "I'm leaving the ring tonight a star". There's no baby steps that need to be taken, he just has to seize the moment.

I heard that Pedro Diaz wants Cotto to train somewhere with high elevation, hopefully this puts him in peak condition (for his age) and gives him the stamina to last at least 12 rounds. I saw a high work rate against Mayweather, even when he wasn't throwing punches, so if he can keep a high work pace, he should be in a good position to win. Truthfully I don't know too much about this Trout cat(fish) to make an assumption.

A hubgrt Trout may be more dangerous than a peckish shark...this time.

Cotto's solid, professional style may be woken up against Trout who has an awkward, unexpected kind of approach. Still, he's unbeaten, and a good matchup, whereas Cotto has taken his lumps more than once. I wouldn't be too surprised if Trout won.

can Trout overcome the reality of finally fightiong a live oppnent...he's never beaten a top 10 guy unless Davis Lopez is 1, right...Cotto's pressure will force trout 2 do things in a situation he's never faced & even w/the great Louie Burke in his corner (far better than Roach) he has no punch to nulify Cotto...traiining @ a hi elevation doesn't help an plder guy boxing in MSG...
