Like I said I don't have to do that.Has everything to do with your post actually. Here's how it plays out.
The Floyd fan will hype ginger going into the fight. Telling us (who know better), shamelessly that ginger is some young, elite hungery lion who's never lost & is coming for Floyd's head. The rest of us will only laugh at you guys.
Then when Floyd beats the crap outa him. You guys will come on boxingscene to brag like it's a great victory. The rest of us will tell you the truth, which is that ginger was a pampered, protected hype job.
Then you guys are gonna start crying about how Floyd never gets any credit. Then you will say that if he fought Martinez, he'd be drained at (154), like you know it's a fact. Then you'll say that Floyd wouldn't have gotten any credit anyway.
Like I said, I know the drill. I did not ask you to quote me. You defend the business, cherrypicking, sales, star power, how much money is made, the spread & so forth.. Me, I love boxing & want to see the best fights.
You missed the part where the floyd haters go out of their way to minimize the fight and the Canelo haters let their jealousy that he generates big money drive their opinion that the fight would be a blowout.Comment

Not happening.....
LOL, Trout will be a salmon, fighting upstream....
Trout does need to run, unless he wants to get gutted......
To the body, hard & often, then over the top when them hands drop. Cotto needs to work on his stamina - the only thing I see stopping him....Cotto is short , WORN, and still has heart if he don't go deep to the trenches, needs stamina for the last three rounds.
IF he can stay out of the trenches this Cuban Trainer whom I have MUCH respect for can pull him thru Young TROUT.
I was not impressed with TROUT in the DR fight
COTTO to win
Respect :
You'll find out that that post was a mistake......
Yeah, NY will be in full effect that night. And Trout will have to block it out (virtually impossible) in order to fight his fight, whatever that is.....Yea I know any fighter would have jumped on the opportunity. I just think the nerves are gonna get the better of him and he's gonna make costly mistakes. The NY crowd is gonna go crazy after every punch Cotto lands and Trout might get desperate and think he need's a KO to win.Comment

@this time in Cottos career he does not need a boring fight...he needs a SMART fight, as Trout will do much BS 2 xtend the bout...he can't bust a ballon but he can box, grab, turn & hold+Louie Burke is 1 of the top 5 unknown trainers, worldwide...Comment

[QUOTE=edgarg;12553581]Cotto's solid, professional style may be woken up against Trout who has an awkward, unexpected kind of approach. Still, he's unbeaten, and a good matchup, whereas Cotto has taken his lumps more than once. I wouldn't be too surprised if Trout won.[/QUOTE
tell me 1 top 10 guy Trout's beaten...he'll clutch, grab, jab, hold, turn, spin & get knocked down w/a right like David Lopez did & the blind Canadian ref was out of position 2 c it...let's hope it's an exciting bout, but, IMO, I doubt it, Trout can't deliver...Comment

Waitaminute here. Are you actually trying to say that the fight isn't a $h1t fight, for real??
Outside of making Floyd & ginger money for you to brag about, what meaning or significance can be associated with that farce??Comment

Bradley had fought bigger fights at that point than Trout has though. I don't think he'll fade under the lights, I just think he hasn't fought the toughest opponents to judge how he'll do against Miguel Cotto.Comment
