King Floyd can do anything he wants at this point. The part-time boxer has too much power in his hands. He doesn't give a crap on people's timelines.

He fights once a year and he wants 80/20. His fans say he deserves it. If only this guy fights often, his zero would have been taken away long time ago. Yeah, an effing part-time boxer deserves the bigger split. Can't wait to see this guy retire.

Now that 50 is with Pac, I think they are the ones who want this fight to be made. 50's in it for business and he knows how much money he can make off it. He wouldn't get involved if Pac is messing around. Man up Floyd.

Yeah Koncz is a real trust worthy source of information. And the whole "with each week that passes by the fight looses its luster" and "I dont think the fight is going to happen"

More like with each passing YEAR... its already 3 years too late nobody is buying this bs that a fight needs to be signed in the next month when Pac just signed to fight JMM a fourth time this year.

They can't wait for a part-time boxer, who takes his time, forever, homey. Just like you can't wait for an employer forever to know whether you got the job or not. Otherwise, you'll die from hunger. Think, homey. Think.

"...Floyd has his agenda and he has a right to make his decisions on his timeline and we respect that. On the other hand, whe don't want to sit idle either. Some boxers can sit for months at a time and not be affected by that." -- Koncz

What the hell is ****ng wrong with some people these days? If Manny don't agree to terms some will say "Manny is ducking" "Manny is scared" "Manny is on PEDs that's why he doesn't want to fight"... Now that you hear him say that he would agree to terms they'll say "He's only doing this to hype his upcoming fight" "He's not in the position to dictate" "Floyd has nothing to prove"... WTF?!?!?!? Your boy floyd is not even saying anything!!! Where the **** is he, he's no where to be found!?!?? There has been more sightings of the Bigfoot lately compared to Mayweather! And if ever the fight pushes through, these ****ing haters would be the 1st ones to be very excited for the fight. I just hope that Manny vs May gets done, and i don't even care who wins i just want it to happen so that those haters can just shut the ****n' hell up!

Pacquiao gives in to Floyd's silly demands. Mayweather stays silent. Go figure.

Pacquiao is saying all of this stuff after he signed his fight.. Are you guys even sure he'll make it past Marquez..?

I surely wouldn't want to see Pacquiao - Mayweather e****ially if he loses to Marquez.

This back and forth stuff has been going on and on.. One guy has an upcoming fight one guy talks and the other guy stays quiet and the cycle continues..

What I would like to see is Pacquiao retire and go into politics..

Mayweather to face Martinez, Alvarez, Cotto II whoever steps up

On topic I think the Clottey and Bradley fights are the difference maker, specially when compared to Ortiz. Also in account is the DLH numbers, but biggest to look at is ortiz where mostly one man carried the show the numbers are differ a lot more. I do agree 55-45 is fair enough for me, but I really don't think to Floyd specially because Arum is involved that he'll go for that. Getting this fight made is as big a fight Arum-Floyd as Manny-Floyd in the ring imo.
                  FMJ Ortiz = 1.25m buys
                  Pac Bradley = 950k buys

Both promoter released figures, HBO released neither. Consider that Ortiz packs the Staples center, Bradley can't draw 2k anywhere.

Regarding your split figures, you realize that for a 60/40 split, Floyd would have to be a 50% bigger draw than Pac? Also, 40% would not be Pac's share, it'd be Top Rank's. Once Arum takes his, it's more like a 67/33 split. That's the thing with those Forbes earnings figures, once you account for Floyd being self promoted, the numbers are surprisingly close.

I have the solution. I would be happy to promote the idea as well. That way I can get paid too. Mayweather and Pac can have a pay-per view contract negotiation. Set a one hour time limit with a respected arbitrator from outside of the boxing world. Each team comes to the negotiation with its terms and argue the case in front of a pay per view audience. It would be non-binding that way both sides would be willing to come to the table. Everyone could then see where the sticking points are and finally see who is actually saying what in an actual negotiation... not in an interview. The arbitrator then makes a final recommendation of terms for a fight. Each side would then be free to accept the terms or reject them.

I am not going to dis Pacquiao for these comments. Out of the two of them, I truly believe he actually wants the fight to happen. I wish Floyd would actually comment for the sake of boxing fans around the globe, and make some concessions himself. He, of the two of them, has always been the one who appears not willing to negotiate anything, and that is not right considering Pacquiao wasn't silent the one time Floyd called him out. You cannot expect Pacquaio to just bend to demands like any other opponent. Floyd is the highest paid athlete, but Pacquiao is number two, right on his heels. I believe the fight should be 50-50, still, but if Pacquiao is willing to give Mayweather a larger portion, I jump on that if I am Mayweather, for the sake of the fans and my legacy.
