God be real. Who has canelo boxed? Mosley was a shot fighter when they matched him up, Lopez was way too small to be competitive and Matthew Hatton went 12 rounds with him! He shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence as Floyd! As for pacman having an ATG chin you are sorely mistaken. I love Pacman but he can be hurt. If he fights like he has in the last two fights against a ****er he would get hurt. And how can anyone rank manny's chin in front of Floyd's when hes been KO'ed twice and Floyd's never been seriously hurt.

Canelo's Power is impressive, but Mayweather has more then enough skill to handle the handleful of powershots he throws per round. I'd be more concerned with Canelo's ability too keep up with Mayweather after the 6th round.

Canelo might be the strongest 154 lbs'er in the world right now. Floyd right now probably wins a decision because he's a very good tactical fighter and would build enough points to decision this kid but like i said Canelo is not ready. Maybe in a year or 2 they will fight. Floyd has taken so many breaks he's a young 35 in ring years so I don't see wear and tear being a problem. It would be a good fight and might even cement Floyd's legacy since he won't fight Manny. Every legend has faced serious adversity and proved where they belong maybe Floyd can do that. Who knows?
You must be a new boxing fan cause if you weren't, you would know how this tune your playing "X fighter will be too powerful for Floyd", has been played many times. Welcome to boxing kid.

We will find out for sure later this year but I'm betting that the thudding shots of Alvarez effect Floyd and he goes into his defensive shell like he did against Cotto. The difference is Canelo is young and hungry so I don't see him letting Floyd slip away.

As one can see from the Guerrero fight, Floyd can still move. Canelo is not known to be a pressure fighter. Plus Canelo has a low work-rate and stamina issues. Youth and hunger is good but he needed to fix his issues beforehand to have a chance. It's highly unlikely that he will have time to fix them in the next few months ...... Now, the odds are against Canelo.

Since you started the thread, Canelo had but 1 fight. I still see major flaws with Canelo even though he has some good qualities.

When did Floyd go into a defensive shell against Cotto? Cotto landed jabs and not much of anything else and Canelos jab is nowhere close to Cotto's. The problem for Canelo is what happens when can't his punches and that mental fatigue takes over. His best shot to beat Floyd is to KO him early.

Canelo will fight a different fight v Mayweather. He intends to pressure him, not stand around counter-punching.

But he had stamina issues against Trout when he was standing off and boxing
Do you really think he can pressure Floyd for 12 rds?
If he does it will look like the Hatton fight,Ricky done very well early on but once his pace dropped he was ****ed

And Ricky had better cardio than Canelo
