I don't know about Manny beating Canelo, Canelo is not a guy that Manny would be a good fit to trade with.

        Right now at least...

Canelo is still developing and he's simply not ready for Manny or Floyd, but once he starts hitting his peak I predict Floyd will either avoid him or fall if they ever fight.
Alavarez has 42 professional fights. How many fights does he have to have before he reaches his peak ? By the time you have had 40 professional fights, you should have fought at least four or five guys who are at the top of their weight division. The fact that he has 42 fights and has only fought one quality opponent should tell you something.

Also, you said Alvarez would stand a better chance if winning if the fight took place in two years. So, what you are saying is that if Alvarez waited until he is 25 and Floyd is 39 years old (you forgot to mention that part) and way past his prime, he could possibly beat Floyd. Duh!!

Very few at that weight can handle Canelo's power but you have to HIT Mayweather to hurt him.

I just seen him hit a couple of times in his entire career, so I think it will be hard for Canelo to really connect and hurt him but you never know.

TS said Floyd doesn't have Manny's iron chin.

I wonder if JMM would co-sign that?

Canelo probably would be better served with just hitting mayweather to the body, or anywhere for that matter, lowblows, whatever, and working him down some, then let the head shots come in the later rounds..

Hard to hit Mayweather to the body because he moves so much. I think it will come down to pressuring Mayweather and seeing if the kid can go hard for 12 rounds.

Right now I feel Saul is too green for the most elite like Manny and Floyd but I see Manny being able to do better simply because he has an ATG chin while Floyd has a decent chin but retreats into his shell when hurt. Canelo might be the strongest 154 lbs'er in the world right now. Floyd right now probably wins a decision because he's a very good tactical fighter and would build enough points to decision this kid but like i said Canelo is not ready. Maybe in a year or 2 they will fight. Floyd has taken so many breaks he's a young 35 in ring years so I don't see wear and tear being a problem. It would be a good fight and might even cement Floyd's legacy since he won't fight Manny. Every legend has faced serious adversity and proved where they belong maybe Floyd can do that. Who knows?

Manny does have an incredible chin. That right hand from JMM was one of the greatest right hands in the history of boxing.

It was on the big stage, for the world title and against one of the best fighters ever.

Manny's chin has never been dented by anyone not on roids.
