i also think that canelo would be too much for floyd in a year or two. If they fight now i think mayweather decisions him, to the people who think mayweather is going to pot-shot canelo no not gonna happen. canelo is no ortiz he actually is a smart fighter. right now i see canelo as an improving young kid whos just bout to hit his prime.

Well assuming the fight will be may 4th, which if it happens it will be... it's too soon to announce it. I'd say we're going to have to wait until December to here from him. If nothing is said by January it's likely he won't fight. As it is not even passed October yet... we shouldn't be holding our breath just yet. December 16thish is when we'll here discussions being made give or take... it's my opinion but I don't forsee anything being said for awhile.

Very true but this isn't the 20 something very mobile Floyd we are talking about. He's much more stationary now and his shoulder roll has been penetrated in his last few fights notably by cotto and early against Shane.
