I didn't mean for Ward to fight him now, straight after losing to Froch. I just mean in general.I wanted him to face Bute before Froch tbh. I still think its an interesting fight and completely different from Froch-Bute.
Im just responding to this idea that Ward has "beaten everyone" or "cleaned up 168". There are a couple guys I'd still like to see him fight. Much more than anyone at 175 which is dead.
I think Andre Ward has beaten every one of note at 168.
You wanted Ward to fight Bute before Froch, but Ward was in the Super 6, he was supposed to fight Froch. He had already taken a Super 6 "breather" by fighting Sakio Bika, who is not a pit stop for any one at all and he showed that by giving Ward a tough fight.
Ward vs Bute can still happen at 175, maybe next year.Comment

I think Pascal, Campillo and Cloud are much more interesting at this point than Bute.

That and Andre Dirrell. Both better than Tavoris Lacy or Tight Pants Pascal. Campillo is an ok fight I suppose but that can happen at 175.Comment

I predicted 2 weeks ago that Ward is gonna be a cherry picker.Ward avoided Anthony Dirrel who was a mandatory and said he was gonna vacate the title but Anthony Dirrel got injured so that was a loophole for him.He also was making excuses not to fight overated Bute.
And Ward did not clean out 168,he has to beat at least Andre Dirrel to clean out 168,the belt Dirrel won from Froch was suppose to be Dirrels belt but he got robbed in the Froch fight.
And Dirrel is contemplating moving to 175 but he yet he wouldn`t fight Dawson at 175?Dawson might be ruined cause he came down to 168 and drained himself and took a bad beating. If Dawson is not shot Ward is gonna pick a easy belt holder at 175 and a lot of you gonna be slobbing his knob after he wins a belt from a bum at lightheavy.
Let me brace myself for the excuses from the Ward groupies.Comment

Anyways, I don't think Ward will lose until he's passed it. I mean, who's going to beat him around 168-175 in the next 5-6 years???
He's already beaten Froch, Kessler, Bika, Abraham, and Dawson.
Campillo, Cloud, Pascal, Cleverly, Bellew, Murat, Stevenson, Rodriguez, Dirrell bro's, etc.
Who is going to beat him???Comment

I would not mind see Ward massacre Bute but Ward doesn't need Bute on his resume at all. Bute proved his worth by getting totally annihilated by Froch who Ward beat effortlessly. Don't need to believe in triangle theories to know that Bute would be shut out, down and done.Comment

He's a great fighter but he could struggle to impose his physicality at 175. I don't think he's as keen to move up as some think (hence talk of Chavez/Pavlik).Comment
