You are the only person who is pushing that fight right now. Why I have no idea. Bute got his big shot and wet the bed. Let him get a couple wins.
And who's "worthy a damn"? Pavlik? Pascal? LOL

I didn't say I wanted to see it right now, I just want to see the fight in general. I wanted to see it before and I still want to see it despite Froch beating Bute. Ward doesn't get to piggyback off Froch's work. I want to see him fight Dirrell as well. Stylistically they could both be problematic.

I don't see Pavlik or Pascal or Cloud as interesting style match ups.

Froch beat Bute cos Bute couldn't handle his power and Froch jumped all over him when he saw he was hurt.

I know Ward stopped Dawson but I don't see him doing the same thing. I still think he'd handle Bute but I'd like to see how..

Same reason I still wanna see Khan-Bradley despite Khan losing to Garcia. Khan got caught and KTFO but would Bradley do that to him? Doubt it.

Pavlik is nothing more than a name until he gets a notable win.

I think Ward's next fight will be at 175. There's nothing left for him to accomplish at 68. No point in waiting for Andre Dirrell to get his head out his ass.

So you support Cherrypicking just as long as its one of your favorite fighters,ok i see how you roll.
Apparently you are one of very few boxing fans, and may be the only one, that believes Ward has anything to prove at 168. And wasn't it Dirrell who got hurt and fell off the radar? I may be mistaken but I think it would be kind of hard for any fighter to fight someone that is missing in action.

As far as Dawson is concerned, in my opinion being drained wasn't Sad Chad's problem. His problem is that he is simply overrated. And why? Because when he wasn't losing to Pascal he spent the rest of the previous four years fighting old and past their prime fighters. And when he stepped up he got his a$$ handed to him. Again, that is just my opinion.

As far as Pavlik is concerned he is lot of things. But, I don't believe that he is anywhere near as washed as so many fans believe him to be. I also believe that he is still a serious threat to any fighter at 168 that he can hit. And Taylor may have had his share of issues. However, I wouldn't say he was overrated. Because, I actually thought him to be a pretty a good boxer.

In closing I will say that I wouldn't call myself the biggest Ward fan. However, I do have a lot a respect for him and what he has accomplished in his career. And any boxing fan that believes otherwise, in my opinion just doesn't like him. And they are simply letting their dislike for the man blind them to the obvious.

But the irony is that Ward beat up Dawson soo bad that I dont think Dawson ever want to taste such a bad beating again.
Dawson looked damaged both physically and mentally.
Dawson is the only soul that knows if the weight affected him, and if he knew that it was the reason he got bullyed and knocked out he would have cryed rematch and been all over saying the weight affected him.

Ward is soo good people dont understand it, and try and downplay his opponents, yet all the guys he dominated in the supersix have won belts and and not lost since.

Also remember Ward fought as a light heavy in the amatures, and he will also be packing bigger guns and fighting at a weight he is used to.
Well Scully feels that weight did affect his fighter check this audio interview of him. Goto http://8countnews.com/ and listen to 8CN Podcast with Brad Cooney.

scully is a garbage trainer and a poor loser. He had no good advice for his fighter while his fighter was getting completely outboxed. You can have it at 175, his punch resistance would have been much better but he still gets school and looses a wide decision.

Did you actually listen to the interview? he seemed to me real sincere for his fighter weight when dealing with the physical trainer. He also said Ward could of still probably won the fight still.

really because before the fight he was saying chad made 175 without dieting and making the weight was no issue at all in fact it was an advantage them that people thought it would be a problem. Got to love the good old excuse bag though
