Serious question. How is Martinez/Floyd the same as Martinez/Ward?

I see you didn't choose the latter.
Selling is relative. Its about return on investment.
Lets say floyd has $5 mil to invest in his next fight. If he invests in floyd/martimnez he may sell 1.5 mil. For the same investment he gets 2.2 mil for canelo. so just ppv, assuming all other revenue streams are equal:
2,200,000 x $79.95= 175,890,000
1,500,00 x $79.95= 119,925,000
You giving up $55 mil return on investment because diehard fans assume the Martinez fight is more competitive?Comment

Keep making excuses hypocrite~
Martinez is a great fighter, a great fighter should find a way to not get his ass wrecked and make a fight competitive even out of his element. It would be a very good test of Martinez's upper limit, he doesn't even have to win to gain, all he has to do is look like he belongs in the same ring, then he can go back to work at 160 no harm no foul~
What's hypocritical is when a guy like you, say that Martinez should go to 168 & fight the best fighter in the world, then compare it to Floyd. As if Floyd has ever went up in weight & fought the best fighter.
Fighting Arthur Abraham for his strap is compatible to how Floyd has moved up in weight. Like I said, fighting Ward is a cop out that hypocrites like you conjure up bro.
If I was saying that Martinez beats Ward at 168, then make an excuse as to why he shouldn't fight him, kinda like what you're doing when you say Floyd beats Martinez then make excuses as to why he shouldn't fight him, then I'd be a hypocrite, just like you.Comment

From a boxing standpoint he's right, canelo should at least beat a hgihly rated fighter before he gets a floyd fight.
Economically, Bush is being a hypocritical baby. Canelo sells seats. Floyd sells ppv's. Floyd will fight him because of the money it will generate, which is the reason SRL fought Duran while waiting for the Hearns fight to get bigger.Comment

Here's a riddle for you.
1.Has Floyd ever weighed 154 for fight even after unofficial weigh ins?
2.Has Martinez ever weighed 168 for a fight even after the unofficial weigh ins?Comment

and seeing as how ODH never got close to that number before floyd, perhaps floyd is the biggest seller. but it doesn't matter to me.Comment

Floyd is out of his depth at 154~ just because he won some fights there doesn't make him that class so using that against him and as a shield for Martinez is two sides of the same coin.
It would be fun to see Martinez try and fight Ward that is two highly skilled guys, you as a fan should want to see it~
Or you are just a hypocrite~Comment

See, this is what I don't get with you dudes. How am I a hypocrite if I do not believe Martinez can compete with Ward at 168. You can't give me any logic explanation as to why you think he can other than (he's a great fighter).
