Serious question. How is Martinez/Floyd the same as Martinez/Ward?

If Martinez wants a catch weight, then its fair to open up the catch weight debate about him moving up 4lbs, even thought he looked small at 160, to take on the likes of Ward.
Lets stick to weight classes and 154 makes perfect sense for this fight to happen.
I have noticed the floyd mongs who blindly spout crap on his behalf are in a bit of a tail spin after watching Sergio on the weekend. I reckon some of them even know in their hearts that Floyd is going to run back to 147 and they cant wait because the pressure is building on them and their precious Floyd
If Floyd fights and beats him at 154 people would just say Martinez was weight drained. If Floyd fights Martinez at 160 Floyd would be way too undersized and if Floyd wins they`ll just say Martinez was old.
And Martinez does`nt seem to want to fight Floyd next,he wants a Chavez junior rematch and a Cotto fight but people ignore that.

So the fight shouldn't happen at all because of what people might say?

Martinez fought Chavez junior and Pavlik, 2 fighters who weigh about the same as Ward on fight night but yet Martinez don`t even want to meet Ward at a catchweight but yet you people don`t call Martinez a ducker.
On top of that Martinez cannot make 154 without it draining him and Floyd cannot move up to 160 without it having a huge effect on him so the fight between the 2 make no sense.

It is the fucking same.
You been pushing this agenda forever. You cant say a WW is ducking a 160 Pounder. Its just trolling.
How can you get on Floyd for not fighting Martinez but not say a WORD about Martinez moving up? It doesnt work like that be consistent. Martinez hasnt even tried to claim 154 as much as his "fans" do. He hasnt been there since 2009. Let that sink in.
You agree with Ward and say Martinez is too small for him then you ignore the fact that Floyd is a small WW let alone JMW.
Then you also ignore the fact that Martinez has not said anything about fighting at 154. He hasnt fought there since 2009. Hes not about to start now.
It is the same. The site kills me sometimes. People just want to be bitter about something. No one on this site knows if he can make 154 healthy. No one.
Boxers say they can all the time i.e Oscar and Dawson. The only name fighter that has went down without being drained recently is Judah.
Dawson paid the price. If Floyd fights a drained Martinez he just wasted his time. YOU know that. He wont get credit. Even Floyd is in tune with writers and critics. Look at Ward-Dawson.
Martinez hasnt even mention Mayweathers name since he won. He called out Cotto for a catch weight fight. He cant make 154. He knows Mayweather is too small for a cw MW fight.
Alvarez unlike Martinez HAS been fighting at 154 pounds. No one is saying Alvarez is a world beater but he is a JMW. Martinez is not.
Floyd himself is not even a real JMW. 151 pounds? Really bushbaby?
You guys whine and cry about Junior being heavy then disregard the fact that Martinez would be a SMW on fight night. Keep it real man.
Then on top of everything Alvarez-Floyd is not signed yet. And even if it is how is he ducking a 160 Pounder who hasnt fought at 154 in years, yet claims he can make the weight then calls out Cotto?
Gimme a break.
How many years does Martinez need to fight at 160 Pounds before you realize that hes a Middleweight now? After a while that weight gets hard to take off.
Floyd couldnt even get down 144. You grow into the weight man. Sergio is walking around at Cruiser weight. Why do you ignore that?
Martinez fans are using a fighter who doesnt even fight at 154 to drag Floyds name through the mud. Its sad.
If Martinez signs to fight Junior again you wont make ONE thread getting on Martinez for it.
Let me ask you this. Who is the better fighter Canelo or Chavez? .
You know the answer.
Stop trolling.
How can you knock Floyd fighting Canelo but not knock Junior for a rematch if it happens when CANELO is MUCH MUCH better than Chavez.
Makes no sense.Last edited by B.U.R.N.E.R; 09-19-2012, 09:22 AM.

Martinez would be no bigger than De La Hoya was on fight night.
But he's not well past his prime, slow and flat footed so you know...
