?! Both of those guys were p4p ranked for work done in the division Donaire beat them at. Maybe you should get informed before spouting pages of garbageComment

he was the heavier man on the HBO scales that night if memory serves correct. i think he was about 135 lbs.
HBO weigh ins must be taken with a grain of salt, though. they dont strip down for these weigh ins. i've even heard that some of them don't even take their shoes off.
that can be a huge difference on a tiny guy like montiel or doniare.Comment

If it's mangled again, just sub "ring tv", one word. Your turn to find a linkComment

The reality is most wasn't p4p ranked at all let alone for work in the division.
I'm not going to sit here and listen to some guy tell me its cool for 5ft2, 112lb fighters to be going to 118 to fight a guy who rehydrates to 135+
On fight night that mofo outweighed that guy by at least 4 weight divisions!
Or maybe you should get out of my thread and go to one about Canelo and justify him picking on tiny opposition and it being okay because he made the weight once upon a time.
Hell I made 112 once upon a time myself.
Its easy for you to sit there and justify this bull**** though, its not you who has to take punches from guys twice your size come fight night.
Good job Narvarez did hide behind that high guard all night because he'd of likely been suffering brain damage if he dared try open up.Comment

Do you realize that Donaire and Narvaez had long overlapping stints at both 112 and 115? So the fact that you were 112 once is totally besides the point, par for the course as this thread goesThe reality is most wasn't p4p ranked at all let alone for work in the division.

Maybe Montiel had weights in his pockets lol
He sure as hell doesn't look anywhere near the bigger man to me.
If anything I'd say Donaire outweighed him by two full divisions.
This guy is as bad as Broner but nobody says much because unlike that idiot Donaire to his credit can actually at least make the weight, somehow.Comment

Go look at his Twitter it was all over here that he said he was 133 first thing in the morning so he must of weighed a minimum of 135 against Narvarez and very likely closer to 140lb mark.
He even outweighed Mathebula come fight night and that guy is around 6ft.Comment

You're right, you jump in the shower you do get wet, Rigo almost drowned twice. It happens, you jump in the ring you're going to get hit. You jump in a shower, you'll end up getting wet.
Huge difference between getting clipped a few times and getting jabbed to death and thoroughly outboxed by the likes of Jeffrey Mathebula.
I'd be personally flatout embarrassed if a C level stickman was able to jab me cleanly a dozen consecutive times at any level.
Hows it even possibly to outland a guy in every round but two, more than double in some rounds, doubling his punch output yet only giving one round up 10-8 too receive scorecards of 119-108, 117-110, 118-109 in favour of the opposition? They be on the TR payroll for sure.
Mathebula didn't win the fight, he was knocked down and left with a broken jaw which is a great statement by Donaire who was being jabbed all night. Rigo got rocked by the first couple of punches landed, that's the difference, if you thought Mathebula was C level, Marroquin is no where near. Donaire is just as fast and when he hits Rigos jaw, he hits a few divisions above his weight class.
You're just biased, i don't even like Donaire, but Rigo's chances don't look too good.Comment
