It seems like Cotto's plan is to beat Trout so he can get a belt and a win, to strengthen his bargaining power a bit. Canelo has already made clear his desire to fight Cotto, so that would probably be next.

I believe Cotto has a better shot at beating Canelo than a weight-drained Martinez (not saying he will be @154, but that is a possibility).
