[QUOTE=jaded;12524942]Pavlik gave Martinez a much harder fight and also knocked him down...should Pavlik get a rematch?QUOTE]Simon Brown bludgeoned Terry Norris and knocked him out, did he deserve a rematch? Yes, Terry went on to win. Dokes stopped Weaver in one and they went on to a draw. If the public wants a rematch, they damn sure deserve one. If the fight sells, it sells, period! Regardless if it is a potentially different outcome or repeat.

Barely got up? with over a minute to go and came back in slugging but Jr couldnt knock him out. Yeah thats a badly hurt guy right there. Did you even see the 20 sec that Jr won in the whole fight? Theres a video of that round on here go watch it please.

Hes lucky it didnt happen in the 10th or 11th? Lets stay with what really happened and not fantasize about what you wished happened

It was a fight dun. Do you understand...a fight! Serg came to ko Jr and he didn't come close. Jr walked through fire, something many of us including you didn't think he could do. Nobody game plans to slow a fighter down. That comes natural. You game plan to win. Martinez didn't come out looking normal either. Both are lumped up today.

Chavez Jr put Sergio down but so did Pavlik and Williams and both them guys got soundly beat. Sergio got up and fought Chavez Jr back until the bell rung. Jr had his shot and couldn't pull it off. Rematch will just make him look worst. We can bet points on it if it happens.
Jr hurt Serg, Pavlik tripped him. If you can say Serg went for the ko, I can say Jr caught him. I'm not a fan of either fighter. I like both guys though. I want to see the rematch. Spinks beat Judah good until that last round. Judah hurt Spinks badly. He then kod Spinks in the rematch. Serg gets props because he traded, boxed, fought inside and kept Jr off balance. Great performance. I don't call Serg Chavez Jr domination. Serg out boxed Jr, but Jr almost caught up with him. My curiosity tells my conscience that a rematch is warranted. Fans think Jr can catch up to Serg. I say a ko can happen for either guy.

I have no idea what burns inside another man. But I bet I know what burns on the outside of Junior. And that would be all them lumps and bumps and bruises that Sergio beat onto his face.

Sergio's game-plan was to slow him down, did you not see the body work???? Almost every other punch he threw was to the body. I'm telling you, Chavez is flirting with disaster.

My first prediction of this fight was Martinez by UD, but then a couple months later after I fully analyzed the match-up, I said Sergio would TKO him. Now, Jr walked through fire, but next time the flames will engulf him. Sergio fucked his face up with an injured hand, and the rematch will prove to be more brutal than the first.

Jr blocked a lot of the body shots, and Jr put Serg down WITH a ****ed up face. I'd like to see Serg do it again if he can, and earn a payday.

those not wanting a rematch or think Jr is unworthy are just afraid that Chavez will knock Martinez out in the next one. Why wouldnt you want martinez to make another huge payday with another chance to outclass Jr?

That's why it was called almost knocking him out, duh. Just like this article where the author says he was badly hurt, dropped, and almost stoped which is what I said: http://www.boxingscene.com/chavez-sr...rematch--57230

And yet he still came on strong and had Martinez badly hurt and dropped him so you DO know what burns inside when a guy can do that with all those bumps and bruises. You answered your own question.
