I love this fight, not only does Martinez win in my opinion, he makes himself relevant at 154 and that in itself makes Mayweather-Martinez much more probable.

It's not farfetched that Canelo can beat Martinez. But it's a bit of a stretch to say he beats him easy.

I for one, think Martinez has a tough time with Canelo. And actually, if Martinez gets lazy, Canelo can knock him out.

Canelo's a damn good fighter I gotta admit, some won't even go as far as to acknowledge Canelo's skills due to the hate. I can also see Canelo taking it, but right now I'm going with Martinez.

I doubt Canelo can be competitive, Martinez got pop and we all seen what cotto brother did to him with a clean shot. If chavez didnt have a chin he would have been ko'd last night easily. Now imagine canelo, He will only last as long as Martinez wants him to last.

Yeah, this is why I just can't see Canelo winning this one. Martinez will be fighting a guy who's actually smaller than him for a change and his power would look scary against the 154 guys (if he can make that weight). Still would be a fun fight to see and Canelo can very well make a fight out of it, the talent is there.

Canelo doesn't have to hit me, I can tell by looking at the way his opponents react, the guy hits hard as hell. Williams, Pavlik, and Chavez Jr managed to knock down Martinez, I know Canelo can do it too. Canelo can knock Martinez out if he gets careless.

BTW, I know you noticed it too, Sergio's head movement against Chavez Jr. It was non-existent. This is not the first time he shows his lack of head movement, but that would dangerous against Canelo. You let Canelo tee off on you like that, he's gonna hurt you badly.

Look, Martinez probably wins, I don't know. But let's not exaggerate either.
