So WTF is that then, a f-cking kick? Don't be a fool. That was a KNOCK DOWN. Off balance, Sergio slipped, I don;t want to hear that bullsh-t. Pavlik threw two punches and Sergio went down because of them.

Most of the people in this thread defending Martinez, who I actually like, are not even speaking facts. They are just all over the place, just talking crap. Let's be real here.
Right but theres a difference between a knockdown like the Pavlik and Williams ones where they punched and Martinez slipped/fell, it counts because a punch was thrown but he didn't go down because of the severity of the punch it was down to balance and the partial force of the punch landing.

Then theres the Chavez knockdown where he went down mainly because of the force of the punch and a small part of it was balance.

You're a clown too, as am I. Deal with it.

And does it matter what it says about a fighter? If he doesn't want to train entirely for a fight, so the hell what. It's the results that matter. Every fighter is going to tell you they trained just as hard this time as they did last time - hell, Sergio is onr ecord for saying that about Barker AND Macklin. " This is my best camp yet! ". That's what they're SUPPOSED TO SAY, but if you actually believe that mess then I don't know what to tell you. Floyd was on record for saying he didn't train properly for Augustus for example. The guys record was trash, he thought it was a cake walk - BOOM - turns out the dude came to fight.

      So wtf you talking about?

      "No punch involved."

"It was a small little tap."

I used to see the name "intoccabile" and think here comes a sh-t post. Now.....Nothing will change.

I see jealousy with Hopkins over the attention Martinez receives at the weight division that he once ruled over years ago.

          Lol, jealousy.

Former MW Ring champion, 20 title defenses. Held the WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, and Ring titles at the same time at 160.

To top it off, let's see Martinez jump 15lbs to 175, and fight the Ring champion there. He refuses to fight the 168 Ring champion, so forget about 175.

Jealousy? Come on, you guys are gonna make me start bashing Martinez. I don't wanna do that.

Martinez doesn't seem to make adjustments to me in the ring and that's the main reason I think Mayweather would beat him.
I taught he won every fight by making adjustments in da ring? How did he beat Macklin, Barka, Dzinz, Pavlik and Williams da way he did? He retook da fight momentum to win afta da mid rounds in 4 of dos fights.
