    I taught for a second there you were a real fan but you have an agenda against Certain fighters! Go watch Cotto fight the Undefeated Torres, Name one fighter today who came thru that kinda fire and won. Think Lara beats Cotto as bad as he did P.W when Floyd Couldnt? Lara is one of my favs and i admit so is Cotto, but Cotto knocks him out! And dnt give me this **** Williams was shot, Cotto started his career a few months after williams and has been in more wars!
    Yes the Punisher was better than Cotto. Lets put things into perspective real quick like. Would you agree that the Punisher was a bigger, better pressure fighter than the prime Margarito that he beat, you get the picture right??

    Cotto Torres is to this day 1 of my favorite fights. But if we're being honest, (which I am), if Torres had a full training camp, Cotto would have suffered his 1st defeat that night.

    Lara puts hands on the current version of Cotto. Just like Trout will come december. I'm a Cotto fan but the man has limits.

      Man you are SO wrong and your clearly biased on Williams, (your pic) He was about equal I'd say but naturally bigger. And Yes Williams has a better chin than cotto but didn't hit as hard as Margarito(bricks or no bricks) I sincerly doubt Trout beats Cotto! Mayweather had trouble landing on Cotto and he is one of the most accurate ever and no way Trout defends half the shots Floyd did on the ropes

That was a few years ago. Floyd looks like a piece of steel when he weighs in for his recent fights at 146 or 147. He has no extra weight at all. He has matured into a full welterweight. Martinez was fighting at 154 with no problems when he took the tittle from Pavlic at age 34. His natural fighting weight is still 154. He is about 7 or 8 pounds bigger than Floyd when both are at there lowest strong fighting weight in my opinion.
        Floyd walks around at 150+, Martinez walks around at 170+. He was 176 lbs 30 days before the Chavez fight. I don't care how ripped Floyd looks, his highest fight weight on record is 151.

        But boxing fans don't care about these details, they just wanna see big names fight each other, regardless of weightclasses. They play too much Fight Night.

          Sergio got 1.4 million I believe for fighting Chavez. Put him up against Money Mayweather and he will make triple or maybe quadruple that? It's a no brainer that fighting Floyd would get him more money, but it's riskier where as a second Chavez fight could be another bigger payday (he would probably get 50-50 this time).

              Is Floyd a fully fledged jr middleweight? It's literally the equivalent of Canelo moving down in weight to fight Lopez at 147, even though Lopez weighed in at 3 lbs below the official limit.

                There's no need to rematch just because jr had 20 good seconds ..here in argentina are rumors of a fight with geale in a soccer stadium

                    This is where I'm lost.

                    Here's the facts;

                    Mayweather is a Champion at 154.

                    Martinez can or say's he can make 154 healthily.

                    Both are Top 5 P4P.

                    I don't see why there's such an issue.

                    Will Martinez outweigh Mayweather by a lot on fight night? Yes.

                    So what? This is what greatness is all about!
