The protection for Floyd is getting heavy now. I knew this would happen, and it'll only get worse if Martinez goes down and beats Canelo. He will become public enemy #1 at that point.

Very true. You will see SO many Floyd nuthuggers on their knees praying for an Alvarez win if that fight happened. If Martinez won and Floyd hadn't fought yet then they would insist that Floyd had just gone up for the Cotto fight, and shouldn't fight Martinez because he was never going to stick around at the weight.

Mayweather would be wise to have a tune-up but this fight has to happen next year, unless Martinez chases a Canelo bout. Even then, it can still happen. This is the fight I'm looking for, not Mayweather-Pacquiao.

If Sergio proves he can make the weight safely by beating Canelo, he has much to bargain with at that point, and absolutely no excuse would be legitimate. Beating Canelo will either force Mayweather/Martinez or Mayweather/Pacquiao, he won't have any other big choices left.

Really happy to see Sergio finally gain an advantageous position, long time coming from that Cintron fight.

Martinez has always wanted Cotto (and Floyd).

Why are you acting like this is news?

I'm gonna tell you right now, Burner was praying for Chavez jr to beat Martinez. Now he's saying Martinez wants Cotto, (which he does). But not because he prefers Cotto to Floyd, he just knows that between Cotto & Floyd, while Floyd hides behind Dirrel & Cotto, Cotto will man up & take his beating like a G.

From 4 corners-Skills Pay bills, all these Floyd fans make tons of excuses. They're so transparent with this crap. But 4 corners had the nerve to make a tread this morning about how Martinez stops Cotto. Don't worry, we know he stops Cotto, along with Floyd. At least Pacman straight refused to leave welterweight, lol.

Actually Chavez weighed in at 158 and Martinez at 159. That means they're the same size right?

It means they were in a middleweight fight.
