Can you read...or you missed the part with me talking about how I don't think Sergio coming down to 154 would be fair either...FURTHER PROOF THAT A LOT THE PEOPLE ON THIS FOR ARE HYPOCRITES!

Didn't many of you try to criticize Andre Ward for making Chad Dawson come down in weight...Oh that is different too right because Chad haven't fought at 160 in a long time...

So Mayweather wouldn't get much credit for beating Martinez at 154 either

I am not pressure Mayweather to move up or Martinez to move down nor will I pressure him to move up at fight Andre Ward...but if they do fight then that would be a bonus for the fans

If Sergio comes down to 154 then yeah I guess that would be make A LITTLE more REALISTIC but then to be fair to Sergio, I would be concerned about him coming down to 154 now and being DRAINED after basically spending his last 5-6 fights at 160

Because what will happen is that if Mayweather goes to 160 at lose, Martinez not going to get full credit for it, people will say he beat a Smaller Guy (even if People would be Celebrating over the fact that Mayweather finally lost) and if Mayweather beats Sergio Martinez at 154 then people will say Sergio was DRAINED
Mayweather/Martinez @160 is a legacy fight for Floyd. Mayweather/Martinez @154 is a legacy fight for both fighters imo. Martinez should fight Canelo first to prove that he's still healthy @154, and beating Canelo eliminates one of Floyd's options. And if Pac loses to Marquez, well.....Sergio would be the one left. I know I'm ignoring guys like Ghost/Alexander, but Sergio would be the #1 option.

I bet you'll never find anywhere on this website where I blamed Ward for making Dawson do anything, how much points you wanna put on that??

You don't think Floyd/Martinez at 154 is fair either?? Tells me all I need to know. You're simply scared to death that Martinez murks him, straight up.

Its amazing how this "weight drained" excuse has really taken off.

Sergio only started fighting at 160 because Paul Williams requested they fight there in their first match up. Then he was offered the chance to fight Pavlik. No one at 154 wanted to fight him anyway going way back to when Vernon Forrest ducked him.

Williams also asked him to move down to 157. He made it no problem and knocked him out in 2 rounds.

            Stop with the excuses.

Well yeah if Martinez take a fight or two at 154 first and can defeat some decent opponents then yes absolutely that fight become HUGE FOR BOTH! AND I AM ALL IN TO SEE IT!

I don't give a *** who wins...I just don't want to hear excuses from either fan base regardless of who comes out the winner...I don't want to hear "HE WAS TOO BIG" "HE WAS TOO SMALL" "HE WAS DRAINED"

So its better to make excuses for why the fight shouldn't happen in the first place, eh?

Couple that with the fact that Martinez has yet to weight in at middleweight for any fight there to this day & yup, there really isn't an excuse.

When Mayweather is involved we all know how fans get, they look for any and everything to discredit the guy, if he beats Martinez at 154 people will say "HE DRAINED MARTINEZ" that is a GUARANTEE!
