    ...and I loooooove Sergio.

Would you ever - EVER - see Mayweather looking like that in a 12th round of a fight he just dominated?
    It's called Machismo bro.

Martinez's team has already said they will not go up to 168 or fight Ward at a catchweight. They said they will only entertain the thought of fighting him at 160.

Ward has already stated (on 24/7 Ward-Dawson) that while he could make 160 pounds on the scales, he knows he wouldn't be effective at that weight.

        Conclusion, Martinez-Ward will never happen.

martinez vs Froch at 164 would be a bit of a style clash, though i would give it to froch by brutal KO

Martinez-Mayweather would be interesting. At whatever weight, if Martinez is healthy and hydrated, I don't see how Floyd would win the fight. But it would be a legacy fight for Floyd.

I dont see it. I never thought he was a superb smart fighter. He gets by on his athleticism and because of the fact that he fights a lot of slow footed fighters : Pavlik, Cintron, Williams, Dzizniruk, Barker, etc.

Hopkins, Floyd, Marquez those are smart ass fighters.

So if this fight happens great...if not I am OK with that, I think it is ****** to put pressure on Mayweather to move up to 160 to fight Martinez...lets say he does that and beats Martinez, then most of you will be saying he should move up to 168 to fight Ward, then he should move up to 175 to fight Dawson, then he should move up at 200 and fight Pablo Hernandez...it has to be a limit at some point

Mayweather is great at what he does but he is STILL HUMAN, some fans are just desperate to see him lose that they are asking for him to almost do the IMPOSSIBLE!

Canelo and Pacquiao then retire is a Good Enough way to end your career, a fight with Martinez would be a BONUS I guess...but I would think Now Martinez is a PPV Draw, so does he even need Pacquiao and Mayweather for a big pay day...a rematch with Chavez Jr will finally give him to BIG PAY DAY he deserves then after that and he wins that he should be able to squeeze out a few more PPV Fights, him vs GGG could be a Huge PPV Fight

                    Floyd is not Chavez jr.

Mayweather-Martinez is the fight I want.

And if it happens, I'll be in attendance.
