Truth be told. Sometimes i wish he never got that fight with ODLH, so he wouldn't have the luxury of mini retirements. But at the end of the day, Floyd is good for boxing, in the sense that he brings viewers. Not in the sense of making fights we want to see!!!

It seems you're the one with issues here.

Floyd doesn't eat punches. Everyone knows this.

It's not my fault Sergio got hit by right hands and his hands down style leaves him vulnerable for the short lead right, something Floyd knows how to throw.

Macklin set Sergio up for rights to the body by throwing light jabs, a tactic Floyd knows too.

Floyd wasn't ever the type to rely on a high workrate to win.

What he does is force everyone else to lower their punch output.

Sergio had his hardest fight when Macklin made it a low volume battle.

Whatever man, if your boy Floyd is so good and has so much confidence in himself. The fight will get made. But, magically it won't. So all this "he's a genius at this or that. He makes fighters do this or that", doesn't mean squat, when he's not willing to test out his skills against another super dangerous opponent. Of course, you can look like Superman when your fighting sub par competition, but to truly test how great you are, you have to fight legit, dangerous opponents, that have a shot at outboxing and KO'ing you.

It's like the Lakers calling themselves the G.O.A.T. basketball team after beating the Atlanta Hawks. What happens when you match yourself up with a team like the Heat or the Thunder??? Can you look as magical and dominant against a team that's just as good as you or even better? I've never once gotten that feeling from a Floyd fight, where I thought "ok, lets see what this kid's made of!", besides the Corralles fight. That was like a decade ago.

Floyd isn't getting in the ring against Martinez. End of discussion.

lol this seems to be common. When people can come up short in evaluating a way to beat Floyd, they just skip to "Well Floyd would never fight him anyways"

I think I saw a video once where the interviewer brought it up and Floyd quickly changed the subject. He said he'd consider it at a catch weight though.

For the ones with short memory:

Floyd passed record high payday against 150lbs/ring Pac.

Have you been reading my posts. I've come up with plenty reasons why I think he loses this fight. What he's doing is saying how good Floyd is at this ot that. Which obviously if you fight scrub ass fighters, your able to do. I'm saying, you can't pull that **** with real ass fighters that aren't going to be your whipping boy.

Floyd would knock his own momma out, if it meant avoiding Martinez.
