Floyd is too small.. Martinez needs to fight Golovkin or Pirog

That's a fair assessment. Though, I believe the weight might be more to Floyd's advantage than Sergio's. Sergio appears comfortable at the higher weight.

You don't need middleweight power to win a boxing match against Martinez. Hell Tall Paul, a wildly sloppy and inaccurate puncher, was able to hold his own while brawling

Since you're getting all emotional now, I'll throw it out there like I have done for a long time now. I've stated numerous times that if anyone wants to see Mayweather lose, Martinez would be the man. However I would like to see the fight at 160 but would accept 154, even though 154 is pointless for both.

You're trying to pick an argument with the wrong person on this subject. Just giving you a heads up as it's really making you out to be an idiot who's arguing with himself.

Hell Floyd wouldn't even fight the Punisher, you're right.

Because he brawled. If you don't brawl with Sergio, you get chased down and hit with lefts all day. When you give him time to think, its over. When you pressure him, you can get him Trouble, but then of course, he rallies late and knocks you the fugg out. Face it, Floyd doesn't have the power to be effective against maravilla. Like I said before it would be like Martinez vs Chavez, except Chavez would have actual skills. Nightmare fight for Floyd.

Because I don't put Martinez anywhere close to that category...Martinez to me is in that Roy Jones Jr Category, an amazing athlete taking full advantage of his SPEED ADVANTAGE and Superior Athletes in his Division

I have great respect for Martinez but lets be honest for a Second...he has been fighting Flat Footed fighters since his Rise on the P4P List, I think Barker was like the only guy that could move A LITTLE but for the most part most of them have been Flat Footed stiffs with limited Athleticism

It is going to be REAL INTERESTING to see how Martinez fights against someone who is just as fast...IF NOT FASTER then him especially the way he keeps his hands down but regardless I think Ward and Martinez are #1 and #2 P4P at the moment
That is basically what Jones said after the fight. This is exactly why I started to be a fan of Sergio's so many years ago. I like his style and if anyone noticed Jones Jr was giving him suttle props for it too.

Sergio is much more effective sitting back countering than he is pressuring.

Macklin did much better than he should have when he was able to make things a boxing match.

It's was when he started opening up by left hooking in effort to keep Sergio away that he got ****ed up.

Meanwhile ignoring the question for yet another post. Who has Floyd fought that's on Martinez's level. 3 times a charm maybe??
