Who beats a Prime 168 Roy?

Roy does not beat everyone in my opinion. I see Ezzard Charles beating him at 168 and at 160 Charley Burley and Ray Robinson are very hard fights for Roy, he probably gets stopped

Ya, I mentioned that in another post. If a lot of the 160 and 175 guys had a 168 division to fight in, who knows. The SMW Division's history is just too short to come up with many good 'h2h' fighters against Roy.

Not going back, just proving the 168 division have no history. A far better thread question will be WHO IN THE 175 Division throughout history can beat Roy.
The SMW Division is pathetic. I hate using that word but it's true. Think about it, ANDRE WARD is now being talked about with his resume at 28 as the greatest SMW of all times.

His resume won't even be top 20 right now in the LHW or MW histories. You can list all the great SMW'S on one hand. What we did see is that a lot of the MW'S and LHW'S coud easily fight at 168 and be just as effective. Look at Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank, the 168 versions of them were very good as well. Same with James Toney. What that proves is there could have been a LOT of MW'S and LHW'S fighting at 168 and it won't have effected them negatively.

Roy`s only weakness was his boxing arrogance, he was soo gifted that he never had to dig deep and learn, that costed him dearly as he got older and lost the body

Other then that, the things he could do, he was not like normal humans.

He had to dig very deep when he was drained in the first Tarver fight. That myth shouldn't exist anymore.

Ezzard Charles would be a problem. Archie Moore, Harold Johnson, and Andre Ward might be. I don't think Robinson could hang.

I think SRR knocks him out at 168(despite the fact that the division wasn't around back then).

Hagler would lose a competitive decision at 168.

Ezzard Charles is another who could beat him.

RJJ was amazing in his prime but nobody's unbeatable and as someone has already said in this thread, he didn't have to dig deep throughout his career(until now - he has to dig deep against average fighters!) so for all anyone knows he could've wilted if he was truly tested in his prime.

Roy KILLS Sugar Ray Robinson at 168. SRR left himself wide open and wasn't nearly as quick as Roy from what I've seen of him.
