In all honesty, Dawson was winning the first two rounds. He looked good. His right hook over Ward's jab was being timed perfectly and I thought he was catching Ward.

It wasn't until Ward landed that straight left on Dawson's jaw and dropped him that Dawson's output started going down. Initially, I thought it was rather strange that Ward was able to drop Dawson until I saw the replay. The punch was picture perfect flush on the jaw.

Dawson was reluctant to throw after that and things went downhill.

@TS, regarding Pac, if I remember correctly, there were more rumors about him being on PED's than there were DLH being weight drained. Unless "the people" you're talking about is Freddie Roach and Co. If I'm not mistaken, it's Roach that's actually saying DLH was weight drained. He said he knew they had DLH because he could still see the bandades from the IV's in his arm.

He just hasn't been hit much clean in awhile. Ward busted his defense and landed a perfect blind shot and then kept tagging him. It happens.

My bad, wasn't aware Dawson had a Khan chin. You win bro.

If that revisionism isn't bad enough, then they outright lie about rehydration clauses that Pac supposedly had against Cotto, DLH, and Hatton.

First thing - if Ricky was subject to a rehydration clause, we'd have heard it from Ricky right after he'd woken up from the canvas.

Secondly, from what I remember, all his talk about hydration clauses was propagated by the Mayweather family - you know, the same family who accused Pac on being on some mystical 500 year old war drug :lol1:
There's an interview where Khan's description of Peterson during their fight fits perfectly with Roger Mayweather's bizarre description of Pacquiao in his interview (thing about bullets bouncing off).

I'm just saying, Khan's description of Peterson kind of backs up what Roger was saying about guys turning into terminators.

Adamek hurt him pretty bad too. Same way. Caught him off the ball, bam. The knock on Dawson for a while was what about his chin. he made it go away by not getting tagged as often for a while.

Don't forget he got dropped against Adamek and barely survived.

I'm confused, because some of the same people who're saying weight had nothing to do with Ward's victory are the same ones who say Pacquiao only won certain fights because he drained people.
It was only like a week or two ago the boards were filled with Pacquiao and his draining tactics.
To be like Pacs deal , Ward would had to have challenged Dawson for his LH title and then force Dawson to be under the 175 limit , Dawson did all the challenging and it was his idea to fight at 168 for Wards title .

Did the weight effect Chad , off course it did , is it Wards fault no how can it be , just like Pac vs Oscar , Oscar was weight drained to fck but it was his own fault , Cotto was a different deal and Pac weight drained him on purpose because he still refuses to fight him without a CW even though he wants to fight Cotto he wont becuse of weight .

Like Ive said all along you guys only see the numbers your understanding of the numbers is off with the faeries and fanboys .
