So I guess if Floyd were to fight Sergio at 154, a weight he said he could make no problem, he won't get any credit either right??? Because Dawson said he could make 168 no problem.

It was a great win and performance by Ward, might be the best I've seen him. Obviously, it would have been a greater win had he gone up in weight.

There are no great boxers, everyone that ever beat someone only dos this because the opponent had flaws.
It dossent matter if Ward beats martinez,Haye,Wlad and evryone else he will never be great because the all had flaws.
Infact he will never ever be great because he calls himself SOG and he beat up all the fans heros.

Sometimes humanity is too ****** to handel

Chad just had his biggest win of his career against Bernard Hopkins and now he is "long gone"??
Dawson vs Ward at 175 would look different, maybe even totally different. But it doesnt matter because Dawson agreed to come down 7 pounds even though I thought he could not do it cause he looked totally ripped at 175. Ward is not a big puncher and Dawson doesnt have a bad chin but when you look at this fight it looks just all as if Ward was a puncher and Dawson is a bum. So I come to the conclusion that Dawson was totally dead at the weight and I still believe that. I am not a fan or hater of none of the 2, I am just telling it how I see it.

This has always been my biggest complaint about Chad. Great talent but just doesnt have the nasty to him.

He shouldn't have agreed to 168.
            I don't feel sorry for his a$$.
            He wanted that payday

I think the weight did effect Dawson, but Ward pretty much just whupped that ass. Even at 175, I think Dawson would still get beat. Dawson had no answer for Ward's jab... and Dawson quit like a b!tch... Ward hand him beat mentally and physically

Truth.....If Floyd was to fight Martinez it has to be at 160.
                Go for that middleweight crown.

                  Do the math.
I don't wanna take anything away from Ward cause he is a very good technician but that wasn't the real Chad Dawson. We will never know how much the weight troubled Dawson cause he won't admit it, but to me Dawson looked DEAD AT THE WEIGHT. We also heard before the fight that Dawson got knocked out in sparring - something we also never heard before.
Let's be honest: When did Andre Ward knock out a top opponent?? - Froch, Abraham, Allan Green went all the distance. The Kessler-Ward fight was stopped cause of Ward's headbutts. And now you wanna tell me Ward can hurt a Light Heavyweight seemingly easily and bad like that??
Chad Dawson isn't known to have a bad chin.
As far as I'm concerned, this fight only would have done something for Ward's legacy if it would have happened at a catchweight or at light heavyweight.
Great win for Ward- yes. But a big big shadow stays.
Dawson is known to have a bad chin, what are you talking about? Do we need to go over the list of fighters that have hurt him?

None at all. He was literally a dead man in the ring. Couldnt take a punch and couldnt throw a punch either

okay so who hurt Chad Dawson before this fight? Who knocked him out? Big Light Heavyweights couldnt knock out Dawson and now suddenly Andre "no punching power" Ward hurts him with every punch?? You kidding me? Ward was fighting a dead man. I really dont know what to think of this fight. I would really want to give Andre Ward all the credit in the world, but somehow I cant. Why is that? Maybe cause it was very clear that Dawson wasnt himself at all
