Props to Ward beating the shyt out of him and stopping him. This day should be about Ward not Dawson. Hell look at all the writers and posters who picked Dawson. Im pretty sure that you all knew this was his first fight under 175 in a long time yet they still picked him.
it just goes to show that most boxing writers don't know jack about boxing anymore.

a guy six foot two, dropping seven pounds from his already emaciated frame and they didn't foresee this happening?

To be honest Dawson looked phucked even before he stepped unto the ring with that weight, But like someone else said before Dawson brought this on himself, He asked for the fight at that weight AKA Oscar De la Hoya trying to get Pac.

I dont get it either. Even if all things were equal no one was trying to hear the posters telling them that "Ward is on a different level" than Chad. He just is. Hes ****ing good. Real good.

He doesnt talk shyt, hes no Broner or Floyd. He doesnt run. Doesnt duck anyone. Ward should be just what NSB needs. He gets props from me. Chad was unsure about himself from the opening bell. I could just sense it.

And Ward was stone cold. He knew he was going to **** him up.

Id love to see Martinez vs. Ward next.

Why would you want to see Ward absolutely destroy Martinez?? Who's damn near 40 & can still make 154?? And who's never fought at 168?

              1. Martinez hasnt fought at 154 since 2009. So to say he can make 154 is juts guessing at this point.

              2. Hes 37. Yes. So what? Is he not in his prime?

              3. If he can fight Chavez Junior who will be a cruiserweight on fight night. Then he can fight Ward at 168 or in the middle somewhere.

              4. Boxers have been moving up for years. Martinez can move up again. Hes said it before.

Martinez is guessing when he says he can make 154 & that's where he'd like to head?

The point about Martinez being almost 40 is he clearly isn't growing & being that he's hardly ever, if ever even weighted in at a full 160.

Chavez jr regardless of fight night weight does train to the official weight of 160. Ward does not.

Martinez has made it clear who he wants to fight. You know it, I know it. Big up Ward, but still try to protect & justify ginger against (you know who).

Much of that is probably down to steroids or just being far too tall for the weight when a very young professional. People don't get bigger in their late thirties.

Martinez isn't james toney and roy jones junior he's not going to be popping steroids up to heavyweight. he's a middleweight and that's the end of it.

Ward would put such a beating on Sergio Martinez.
