Well anyone who's primarily been fighting at LHW for most of his career and isn't exactly no spring chicken he's not in his 20's this is boxing not UFC where you can move down 50lbs and probably still be a champion because the opposition is not there!
If the fight was at 175lbs and Ward had won in the same fashion without it having to be in his home-yard and with-out that absolute horrible referee Smoger who allows boxers to wrestle at times theirs a rule book in boxing for a very good reason!

I think Wladimir Klitschko should look to hire Steve Smoger, their would be absolutely no chance in hell would anyone stand a chance.

Hatton was very much "the man" at jr welter when Pac beat him. Of Pac's titles, the only ones I call bogus were the jr feather, lightweight, and jr middleweight. Mosley was the top guy at welter when Pac beat Cotto for his little trinket. But it can always be argued that Cotto's loss to Margs was very much in question and even if it wasn't, Cotto had beaten Mosley.

The titles in multiple weight classes is a pointless debate. Ray Robinson started his career around 130. If not for a heat stroke, he would have won the light heavy title. Henry Armstrong held the feather, light, and welterweight titles simultaneously. These guys fought in eras with 8 divisions and one title per. Imagine if they had fought in an era with 17 watered down divisions and 5 recognized world titles per. Its not an exaggeration to say they would have won titles in 10+ divisions. Super middleweight has been one of the deepest divisions in boxing the last couple years and Ward cleaned it out. To me, that's a lot more impressive than the seek out the worst beltholder in a division, beat him, and move on routine Pac has been on.
