If boxing fans don't have Ward in their top P4P list now I don't know what to tell them. Ward is just that damn good. If he decides to rematch Dawson at 175 I still think he takes it. Ward is like a chessmaster when it comes to boxing. The guy is always a couple moves ahead of his opponent.

All the credit in the world to Ward, he completely kicked Chad's ass...... Im real disapointed in Dawson though, he basically gave up after the KDs. Ward should shoot up the p4p list.

Exactly my thoughts. I hope Martinez stamina holds up. He needs not to go for the KO but take it if it's there. Think 12 rounds Martinez! That will be another exciting fight! This was a surprise for some who thought pure boxers couldn't deliver a show. Well they thought WRONG!

Damn, what the hell happened? I'm probably one of the few who thought that Chad would be able to be a lot more physical with Ward compared to Ward's other opponents, but damn. We knew that Ward had better inside-game but I actually didn't think he could get that close to Chad given Chad's reach advantage and usually superior jab.

Andre pulled a GREAT performance but something wasn't right with Chad. Even Sakio Bika did better against Ward than Dawson (no triangle theories here), but Chad just looked WAY off after the 2nd round. Landing single digits too in probably one of the worst CompuBox readings over 12 rounds ever recorded? Did he hurt his shoulder? Wrist? Was it the weight?

Dawson just lacks the hunger it takes to make him greater than he is. He has all the tools but mentally the urgency never sets in. On top of that, all he ever fought mostly were older fighters to the point where a guy like Jean Pascal beat him. Ward is in another class and league. He has all the tools to be one of the greats. Dawson is not ring savvy or technically smart enough to trouble or beat Ward.

Dawson was never any match for Ward at any weight.

Damn homie. You have a lot of excuses. Dawson got KO'd bottom line. He was talking a good one before the fight about how he was feeling good at 168 and that he is going to do this and that to Ward but Dawson was never no match for Ward which I said from the beginning. I would have preferred for it to be at 175 just so that Andre Ward could have taken the LHW title.
