    Floyd fought Baldomir & Sharmba....................
So we should forget Manny fighting Ledwaba, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Hatton, and Bradley, okay.

Oh and we should forget Floyd fighting G. Hernandez, Corrales, Castillo, De La Hoya, Hatton, Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto, okay.

Cotto's resume is even close to Floyd or Manny, fact. Not even close. If you're going to say fighting Pacquiao, Margarito, Mosley, Mayweather, Clottey, and Trout are risks......than you better say fighting guys like Ledwaba, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, and Bradley are risks, or that guys like G. Hernandez, Corrales, Castillo, De La Hoya, Hatton, Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto are risks.

I love the way you make everything fit your argument and leave out all the rest.

Floyd has probably the weakest resume of any great fighter.
Have you heard?? While Floyd was trying to pass Martinez off, Cotto called out the winner of Chavez/Martinez.

I really don't care about this discussion. It really is pointless considering you're a guy that tries to equate Martinez fighting Ward at 168 with Floyd/Martinez at 154.

Martinez is more risky than every single fighter you have named that Floyd has ever fought. Which is why you want Pacman/Floyd or Floyd/ Ginger. No risk fights.

        Keeping this on bump status.

All you guys talking bout Cotto/ginger early next year, not gonna happen.

Please remember that ginger ducked Trout to fight Lopez. He's not gonna fight him after Trout beats Cotto. Dead the talk now, Cotto is ushering in the new breed of 154 champ. I said it 1st!

Much respect to Cotto. This fight was unnecessary but I'm glad he gave Trout this chance!!

That people should be careful when judging a fighter the 1st time they see him on TV. Trout didn't look that good and everyone started ****ting on him. Maybe he was just nervous.

Bottom line is Cotto is in for a tough tough night IMO.

I feel you've complicated a simple thing. The fact is, it's hard to look good against Rodriquez, he's just (1) of those fighters. Cotto, ginger, whoever you name doesn't shine vs Delvin.

Agree about Delvin. I think we agree and are essentially making the same point, people are not familiar with Austin and base their opinionsit all on the delvin fight

Oh, we agree on this alright. I simply pity the idiots who base their logic off the Delvin fight. Especially concerning the likes of lil **** bwoy ginger. There are people that believe ginger beats Cotto, but not Trout. Even though Trouts dominating win over Delvin bosses on ginger's entire 40+ fights.

Edit: Like they've forgotten that Cotto's big brother (a career lightweight) almost put ginger's a$$ down in round 1 when they fought.

I for one am nervous about this fight. Trout has the ability to make things ugly and neutralize any perceived advantages.

As a Cotto fan, I'm not sure what the rationale was behind choosing Trout. But eff it, if Cotto has to ride into the sunset, better to do it against a top opponent than a scrub.

I'm not quite convinced saying that, that Trout will win. I think Cotto can use his jab to get in the inside and work that body and wear him down. If he can't get inside, then its going to be a long night. This fight screams Cotto/Clottey II

Cotto work the body?? Nope, not since Jab Judah bro, real talk. If you really just compared Trout to Clottey, I'm not even sure if I want to discuss boxing with you anymore. (No offense) of course.

If Cotto wins, BIG money with floyd or Canelo. If cotto loses, he still can make a huge Canelo payday next year. cotto fans should be nervous.
