Toneys inside game is WAYYYYYYYY better than Floyds though.

Floyd by a country mile, Toney was good but the way he gets talked about its clear people remember him as better than he actually was

I agree with that & I'm a fan of Toney.
In a way a bit like Zab Judah, bags of talent but inconsistent & tended to fall short in virtually every big fight he had barr the Holyfield win & the shoddy ''W'' over Jirov. Suppose you can throw the win over a shot to bits McCallum into that to.

I really don't think you are a fan of Toney if you compare him to Judah, not to mention you claim he fell short in virtually every big fight yet you don't mention his best win. It definitely wasn't a shoddy win over Jirov, it was a legitimate win. McCallum wasn't shot to bits in Toney's first win over him, past it but still a good fighter. Toney beat a lot of good fighters.

Yeah Toney is probably more famous for having a big belly and smoking a cigar.

He was a good middleweight, and he cherry picked a couple of sort of frankenstein wins in the higher weight classes.

But yeah more famous for his antics and lack of class

Of course some people love that stuff

Floyd is way more diverse. Toney is old school and stands in the pocket in every fight. Floyd adapts his game, he can fight in the pocket or he can box on the back foot or he can walk his man down.

Floyd is more physically gifted, Toney used his learned skills with his limits.
