      Yes, since Ray Robinson.

Name on fighter who was a better ring general then Duran himself.

Uh you and Gavilan are full 0f ****, first off Leonard was in no way beaten from pillar to post in any way, shape , or form. Coked out? Yeah, you don't go toe to toe for 15 competitive rounds w/ Duran and be on crack. Alot of people say that Leonard fought the wrong fight, maybe so but that day he showed everybody that he can do Duran's job and that fight was more of a draw more than anything, but what happened in the rematch Duran couldn't even get anything together when Leonard did what he does best which is stick and move. So what did an all-time great do.... Quit. This coming from a huge Duran fan, had nothing to do w/ being ill prepared, the outcome would've been the same. Leonard showed he can do Duran's job(slugging it out) but when it came for Duran doing Leonard's job(boxing) he couldn't manage putting a single combination together. How the hell would one know if Duran didn't train for the fight. No wonder he went all out w/ head games in the 1st fight, 'cause he already knew he wasn't gonna beat Leonard any other way but drawing him into a brawl. Plus it's the 2nd rematch that usually puts a stamp on it and not the first. Nobody wanted to see a 3rd fight w/ one fighter quitting... The fan interest for a rubbermatch waned.

          If pre obviosly Ray Robinson.

If post, then there are 3 just in the 80's..Leonard beat duran twice,Hagler,Hearns.Whom he both lost to.

You can't be concidered as great as Robinson when you can't beat those guys.I'm sure you'll keep arguing though but my point is fact not opinion.

Leonard ran from Duran in the ring aswell as outside, because to face the great hands of stone fair and square was not an option for Leonard. Duran was also sold out by his management team. They signed a contract to fight Ray Leonard when Duran was fifty pounds overweight. They sold Duran out because Leonard's people, namely his trainer, Mike Trainer, offered Duran's manager 8 million dollard to sign the fight quick style.

You don't have to tell me I know Leonard is my all time favorite fighter.

Do you know what since means?

Duran was HUMAN. The only fight He truly didn't belong was Hearns, who was a great fighter in his hayday, who was 6'2'' (Duran was 5'6'').

He pushed Hagler to his limits, and of course beat Leonard (which by the way He skipped 2 DIVISIONS..which probably means nothing to you considering you are a moron.)

By the way, I'm not saying Duran is as great as Robinson, Gans, Armstrong and all of the old greats, but from a technical view, name ONE fighter who was better then him. He used techniques against Iran Barkley that has been passed down over SEVERAL generations. No one since Robinson has been technically as good as Duran.

Uh huh, sure whatever you say. Running is what Roy Jones does, running is what Mohammed Hakkar does, running is what De La Hoto did against Trinidad, running is what Gainer did against Marquez... Are you getting this?

By the way, would you consider Floyd Mayweather Jr. to be a better fighter then Duran?
