Hand speed, ring movement, being able to slip punches.Duran was good at these also but not better the main that got him as far as he went was heart and his chin and punching power.

Duran was the best fighter of the 70's, bar none. he fought the competition, He overcame obstacles, He beat up old guys when He was the up and comer, and beat up young guys when He was the old guy.

Duran was GREAT, no matter how you slice it.
I'm not arguing about if Duran was an all-time great or not. I thought we were discussing solely about Duran - Leonard rivalry. Duran won against Leonard in a very close fight, 'cause if it was a blowout there wouldn't have been a f**kin' rematch, now 2nd fight Leonard took him to school, but it was too hard of a lesson so he bailed. It's that simple.

I hate to break it to you, but you know nothing about the sport. I grew up in the gym, and Duran is a LEGEND. Only a fool would argue about his boxing skill.

Who said Chavez was better than Duran?

Funniest thing I've ever heard in my life.

Duran is the greatest hispanic ever without a doubt, with Chavez somewhere around number 5 or 6.
