You have obvious flaws in your logic. Ignore the bad, but praise the good.

Coming from a guy who suddenly comes out w/ a million excuses of the guy didn't train, the guy had a bad promoter, the guy couldn't speak english, the guy couldn't yadda yadda. D@mn if nobody knew we were discussing Duran, It wouldn't sound like we were talking about an all-time great.

Duran fought all the top fighters from 135 to 167 pounds. During the last 20 years of his career, he was almost always fighting bigger and younger opponents.Even in his fourties, and fighting on memory alone, he was giving fighters like Pazianza and Camacho all they could handle. He even knocked Pazienza down in their fight, and in his first fight against Camacho, Duran won at least 8 of the 12 rounds, only to lose a decision that sugar ray leonard called a early christmas present for camacho!!

Duran was the best fighter of the 70's, bar none. he fought the competition, He overcame obstacles, He beat up old guys when He was the up and comer, and beat up young guys when He was the old guy.

Duran was GREAT, no matter how you slice it.

We never said he wasn't great he's just nowhere near the class of Ray Robinson like you previously stated.
