it's ****ing annoying that some people are still clinging to that "dawson called out ward" excuse. it's almost an everyday occurence in boxing that somebody is calling out somebody. so what's the big deal if dawson called out ward? that doesn't justify the fact that dawson will be at a big disadvantage for going 1 weight down just to make the fight. one guy is making all the sacrifices while the other is trying to take whatever advantage he can get.

What has that got to do with it? I thought more highly of you.

I believe a real S.O.G. would believe in better and fair treatment.
I was talking about Kessler. How is Ward giving people reason to think he's a punk, by taking Dawson at his word when he said he'd fight Ward at 168? Let's not act like when the Super 6 started that Ward was considered as the one of the least favorite to win it. Since that was the case and I'm a rival promoter why wouldn't I feel comfortable with my fighter fighting Ward in his hometown when at the time Ward was seen as the less experienced pupp in the tournament? To me that would be an easy win in that round of the tournament.

I hope that you still do Bat, I don't think any less of you. But I honestly feel that you are still upset over the Ward-Kessler fight.

            I love this.

If someone can photoshop Bernard Hopkins head onto Jesus's body, we have a winner.

Dawson's title would have been on the line since 170 is over the super middleweight limit.

I know that technically it is true, but it just sounds so ****** and shows how pussified boxing is with the weight class. 168 is basically a new weight class, it doesn't have a whole lot of history. When was it established, the 60s? It's a fairly new weight class compared to the others. Andre Ward is no small fighter, he won Olympic Gold at Light Heabvyweight[178lbs]. Chad Dawson was a former SMW himself, and Andre Ward was a former LHW himself. These two are virtually the same size. Dawson is not picking on a small fighter.
First you just said it was true so i really dont understand what you are commenting on.

So something created in the 60's is fairly new? Really?

None of what you said changes the fact that dawson a light heavy is calling out ward a supper middle as if he doesnt have his own division to fight in. I mean how about dawson fight someone in his own division thats not a grandfather.

So Dawson saying he's a natural 168 pounder means nothing? Dawson saying he'll have no problem making the weight means nothing? Dawson being the guy that's actually gonna step in the ring has no problem with it but people are crying like a bunch of females.

Bro. I havent even mentioned Kessler in this thread. I have just stated facts and opinions. You should counter with yours instead of taking shots at me.

Besides they make up most of boxing's fanbase.
Please ask yourself, how Ward "dominates" in boxing? All the dude does is a hug, hold, and punch cycle. Talk about an illegal way of boxing and he clearly gets the red, white, and blue ticket. Not much of an issue if it's not intentional, but Ward most definitely does it intentionally.

                      Conclusion:

Only Andre Ward fanboys can defend this ****.
