before any of you morons start crying about the refusal of the 170 lb stipulation, i'd like to make sure that you're aware that ward's championship cant be contested at anything over 168 lbs.

Dawson wanted to fight Ward not necessarily for his belts but when it became apparent that Ward wasn't going to move up from 168 it became for his belts

why you calling people morons? its a debate relax

sign me up the Dawson Express....gonna ride this bandwagon for a good cause!!...Ward and his team did the right thing though...make Chad work to get down...I have no issues with that(well maybe a lil)...it's gonna make it that more GREAT when Chad beats him up

Last time I'll talk about this match-up cuz I'm tired of it lol. Ward has the weight advantage and will be fighting at home, and he's the one risking his belt and reputation. Fair trade. If Ward loses or even looks bad and gets a questionable decision, his stock will take an ugly hit. Now, do I believe Dawson when he says he'll make the weight with no problem? I do. Do I think that he'll come in over-weight? I think they'll be minor complications with the last couple lbs, but he won't miss weight. Do I have any reason to think that by listening to Dawson's confidence? I don't. Dawson sounds like he ain't playing games and is more motivated than ever before. Dawson has the height/reach advantage, so Ward's gonna have to use his intelligence to win. Do I think the weight is gonna play a big factor in who wins? Not really. But we will see what condition Chad is in when he steps on the scale, and into the ring.

ward never had interest in dawson at lightheavy at the moment, he said he was gona move up in the future, dawson is the one who wants to fight him, same people that are against n always complaining about catchweights are the same ones complaining that this aint a catchweight lol

You are a moron if you believe that. Less and less matters as you approach limits. Idiot.

Looking forward to the fight. Should be a great one, as long as both are healthy and up for it.
