Now if he offered Ward 170 and they turned it down then ok, Dawson shouldn't have said he'd do it at 168 nor should he have called out a guy a weight division below him and expect to be done any favors. It's funny cause I don't hear Dawson crying about it but people are all up in arms about it. Seems some will try to find any reason to hate on Ward, Smh.
It's not hard to see why. I mean Ward has dominated a top 3 division in boxing beating elite prime fighters to do it. Because of that his name is being mentioned here & there that he might be the best fighter in the world. Fans of a certain 2 other fighters might take offense to that. Besides they make up most of boxing's fanbase.

I would assume neither because it wouldn't be fair to Dawson to still be giving up the weight advantage and his title as well. That really would've been a ****** move by Dawson.

It isn't Pac or Floyd fans that hate on Ward.

This is just freakin sad and pathetic man. I swear so called boxing fans these days. How do you hate on a guy when he was the one being called out and the guy calling him out said he'd fight at his weight? How do you hate on a guy when the one calling him out said that he was in fact a natural 168 pounder and would have no problem making the weight? Oh I get it, the hate is because Ward had the nerve to take Dawson at his word and fight him at 168.

Yeah we know who they are fans of. A certain fighter Ward whooped whom they said Ward had no chance to beat.

How about no title? These are two young great fighters and titles shouldn't be a neccessity. If 170 would have made Dawson content they should have done so. Nevertheless Dawson signed the contract so its himself that is to blame. Hopefully he gets paid big.

In any case Goosen must be the best promotor in America. First he gets all the s6 promotors to agree to Ward having all his groupstage fights in jOakland and now this. Unreal.

Yea, they are so typical. But it's quite embarrassing.

Ward was never going to lose to Kessler, get over it.

If Dawson can keep the son of the Hugging and Holding god from doing it's thing, he's got a good chance to take the title.

I'm no Froch fan if that's what you're implying, and I'm not a hater either. This word is thrown around too easily. People think Ward is a punk because he's giving them reasons to do so, it's that simple. SOG claims to be the good guy but the reality is Dawson is the so called "good guy" in this. I believe a real S.O.G. would believe in better and fair treatment.
