Andre Ward is like a spoiled, pampered child who always has to have everything his own way.

I see your point but realistically it would make no sense to hold this fight anywhere else. do we really need a fight of this magnitude in an empty arena in Vegas or Hartford?

in the same interview from last night he told us he went to 175 for the big names that were there at the time. Tarver, Johnson Hopkins etc but now that the division has dried up he may stay at 168 once he beats Ward

Idk man we're gonna have to see how he looks at the weigh ins and fight night. This dude is not a small dude either so how long is he gonna last 168 if he makes the limit comfortably and stays there? Last time he fought at 168 was years ago so how can his body not be filled out?

How does Ward plan on becoming popular to more people if he doesn't get out of Oakland? It's cool to fight there when you start your career and build up a fan base but come on man, you gotta get out of your town and build fan bases somewhere else.

If he was a natural 168lber he would be fighting at 168 not LHW. It's not like the guy can't make the 175 limit and coming in at 170 or some ****.

Yeah. All evidence points towards the contrary; Dawson is 185+ on fightnight. Saying he is a natural SMW is absurd.

Well Ward did get the advantages, but keep in mind he has zero excuse if Dawson beats him in this situation, so Dawson has a lot to gain but if he loses he has the excuses so he can easily continue on his career.

Ward whole plan and identity is broke should he lose, and the fight game is mostly mental so what happens if he played for the advantages thinking he has them and Dawson is perfectly fine that could really work against Ward.

i totally disagree with that, i think there is too many divisions as it is.

Not for a belt. It would still be amazing at 170, with no belts on the line. Catchweights can be a good thing, and this fight is an example of that.

This is exactly what will happen with Floyd- Sergio negotiation if ever there will be.

Sergio calling out Floyd at 150, then when negotiation begins, Sergio will ask for a better catchweight but Floyd will insist on 150.

I think Dawson saying 168 is his natural weight class and that he can make 168 comfortably is his way of promoting the fight. But think about it, how will he look if he misses the weight or looks drained as ****? Like a complete jackass for sure...

Don't get me wrong, I hope he makes the weight with no problems and is 100% come fight night cause Id love to watch this fight.

If Dawson is 1lb over and can't take anymore weight off, they'll just have to renegotiate the contract right then and there, or cancel the fight. Blame Dawson for allowing his ego to take control of his mouth.

Looking at his record, Ward has only fought outside of CA 7 times. Pretty crazy! BoJang made a good point in that the fight had to be in one of their home towns because neither guy is a big draw but still. Ward is a special fighter but the fact that he always gets his way is ridiculous. Especially in the SMW tournament.

I wont be surprised if he gasses in the championship rounds or has a punchoutput that would make Hopkins look like Paquiao.

I hope I am proven wrong and we get a good fight (like Dawson says). Especially because it gets shown live for free in my country. Good times.
